Why such a big diﬀerence between these 2 florist quotes??? 🌹This is a question I have been asked
sometimes by confused brides. And I would like to try and give an objective explanation to this
very subjective and artistic “ floral enigma”💐

I believe it all depends on the type of florist you’re trying to hire since not all florists are equal, the
same way that not all artists are equal🤩

Some of them bring a more conceptual and creative energy into their work. ✨They take hold of your
vision and are able to both replicate and multiply their potential and beauty in unexpected ways.
This takes time and very hard work which will be reflected in their price🤑
Other florists-who are artists in their own way- would take your inspiration images, your preferred
flowers and your budget into account to deliver also a beautiful result but that’s exactly as
expected. 🙌🏼 They are the right choice for couples who know what they want and prefer eﬃciency
and set costs👏🏼

Wedding Venue signs that say it’s not the perfect venue after all! So don’t ignore them!⬇️❤️

- Vendor Restrictions
This is a very important detail to check if you have a preferred vendor in mind ! ☝🏼For instance we’re finding that many venues hace exclusivity with Sound & Production companies so there’s very little flexibility or none at all if you want to
bring your own Dj. 🎧

Also the prices for the production elements tend to be much higher than market prices. It may seem convenient but your vision and budget may be impacted greatly😊

Ideally you should be free to select the vendors that best fit your style and budget🏷️. Venues that are too restrictive in this sense more often than not have a financial interest which benefits then and not you👀

-No Backup Plan for Bad Weather
Venues that mainly offer outdoor spaces, must provide a clear alternative back up plan in case of bad weather🌧️

-Non responsive staff
It’s very important to feel that you have a consistent communication with the venue representative in charge of your wedding event. 💒 If you notice that too many people are involved this may be a negative sign and indicate a high staff turnover.👩🏻‍💻

We would advise that the communication is dome with the same venue coordinator all along. That way important details don’t get lost in translation‼️

-Poor Accessibility for Guests
Don’t forget to confirm when you visit the venue that there are no accessibility issues. They should be able to accommodate all your guests either with mobility issues, the elderly, families with young children.♿️

So check the existence of ramps, parking, and enough restroom facilities🅿️

Working on your invites and unsure as to which printing style is better for
you? 🤔What do you need to consider when choosing between printing options? What’s the difference? ☝🏼
Here’s a general guide that hopefully is helpful in your decision making
process: 💭

•Digital printing is what we could call normal printing. It’s ink on paper 📄 The
paper may be coated or uncoated, with either a gloss or matte finish💫
Its the most affordable invitation option, but if printed by the right printer on high quality paper , it will look anything but cheap ! 🌟

Expect to pay between €2 and €4 per invitation depending how many you
are printing and what sort of paper you are using💕

•Letterpress printing creates indentation on the page for quality you can feel to
the touch. Designs or text can be stamped in letterpress, and may have ink
embedded in it or be left ‘blind’ for a different effect. 🖋️Letterpress also requires
a thicker card to hold what is pressed into it
Expect to pay around €5 - €9 per card for letterpress printing, depending
how many invitations you are ordering‼️

•Foil stamping uses hot stampers to apply foil pigment to the page, leaving a beautiful metallic shine that screams luxury. 🌟💕

Gold and silver are the most🏆🪙
common choices for foiling, but many others can also be chosen. Rose gold is a very popular choice now, but you may also see bronze, black, copper, depending on your print you will pay 4 to 9€ per invitation. ♥️

Many venues offer an *all-inclusive* package for couples, and while it appears to be the perfect deal, they may hide extra costs or charge high fees for small details that you may require on the day💸

-These additional charges are frequently hidden in complex contracts, including service fees, cleaning charges, overtime penalties, and equipment rentals🧰

How to avoid this pitfall: ask for an breakdown of all possible / potential costs before signing the contract. 📑✍🏼

I am Mitsy, your wedding planner in Marbella, Costa del Sol.I grew up in a large Cuban household where the traditional arts of cooking, housekeeping and gardening were practiced and revered.We always had guests and I used to love the ease with which my grandmother always managed to add extra places at the table, a special roast or big platter of the freshest garden salad, a beautiful flower arrangement, every detail magicallly combined to create the feeling of a special occasion.

After completing my hospitality education at les Roches, Marbella, I have been involved in the restaurant business as a manager for years where I always had great pleasure in serving and entertaining every one of my guests .
