Today Malta commemorates the end of the Great Siege of 1565, the end of the French occupation of Malta in 1800 and the end of the Siege of Malta by the Axis forces during World War II.

A Maltese Victory Day tradition is the regatta race in the Grand Harbour which is a spectacle in its self.

Malta’s own brewery experience has just opened in the magnificent Art Deco style building which housed the original brewery.

We can almost picture a business meeting taking place in one of the iconic conference rooms, followed by a tour and a beer on the rooftop!!

Whilst in Malta, Caravaggio painted ‘The Beheading of St John the Baptist’ and ‘St Jerome Writing’, both of which are preserved at St John’s Co-Cathedral.

The first-ever EAES Symposium on Innovation in Surgery to be held in Malta has come to an end. During the event, four live robotic surgeries from four different countries were presented, one of which was broadcast from Mater Dei Hospital. We thank EAES and Dr. Predrag Andrejevic for selecting Meet360 Events as their local partner, entrusting us to manage logistics for this signature event!

And it’s a wrap up of the regional conference “To Simulate the Automation of Referring Victims of Human Trafficking on Migration Paths, to Better Pledge Victims” which includes more than 100 participants from the Oromoté-Mediterranean region, tackling shared challenges and realities related to human trafficking and migrant smuggling was presented.

We are really saddened to hear the news that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. Her Majesty was a truly remarkable person and an inspiration to many.

The Queen felt a special bond with our islands where she described her time here as one of the best moments of her life. Malta remains the only country outside the United Kingdom that the queen called ‘home’. Prince Philip served as a naval officer between 1949 to 1951, just before her coronation, and the couple lived in Villa Guardamangia.

The queen and the Duke of Edinburgh travelled to Malta for her final overseas visit in 2015 to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

Your truly served the world, your country and ours but now it is time to rest!
