{ BLITZ } is a new concept that will be targeting and promoting local & international artists alike.
The series will take place once a month at the legendary Playground Club in St.Julian's and showcase a combination of upcoming and household DJs within the Techno community.
For BLITZ - 8th EDITION, we have invited 3 DJs from the Local Techno Scene that need no introduction.
Our Special Guest for this epic event is none other than CHAIN RECORDS Head Honcho & Founder - PANTOS. He will be supported by TINA - the soul & mind behind magma projects and HORI, the engine behind UNMUTE projects together with our very own resident DJ OBLX.
The Lineup:
TINA
Playfully curious, Tina has been intimately exploring sound through DJing, live improvisations, an ambient duo - 'immersion' and 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮 - an intimate musical gathering based in Malta.
A passion for electronic and gravitation to world sounds is expressed with undertones of hypnotic rhythms and basslines, primitive beats, and diversely ambient performances. These influences have been manifested in performative, literary, club-oriented, and audio-visual collaborations, continually energizing her celebration of diversity.
HORI
Hori's musical journey was bred in the war-torn Serbia in the '90s, his style evolved from the NY house of the '90s through 00' italian and UK techno via the minimal craze of the late '00s, all the way to the beautiful soundscapes of deep and dub techno.
Always an explorer, as a 14-year-old he tried to establish a school radio, which had him looking elsewhere after being stopped by the teachers - leading him to master the craft of djing on types of vinyl. Later on, he went on to win the national DJ championship and was part of a buzzing techno scene in his home town Subotica, which he helped promote.
After living in Hungary and the UK he is truly humbled and grateful that he has been accepted to the local underground scene. He is part of Unmute, the organization that promotes slower deep techno rhythms with massive basslines currently at Ivy House, and one of the curators of the Anathema Podcasts.

PANTOS
Neil Pantos DJ & producer, born in 1982 and raised in Malta.
After being exposed to electronic music and the local dance scene back in the late 90s, Neil Pantos would
never be the same again. A love for all things, Electronica was born.
Pantos has been leaving his imprint on both the local scene and internationally through his contribution to House Music and in recent years with his style taking a turn to the darker side, through his evolution into Techno and label founder Chain Records.

DJ OBLX
Gravitates towards darker and deeper sounds, fast-paced grooves, and heavy bass lines from a wide range of genres, including
Deep Hypnotic, Groovy Techno, and Hard Techno.
His sets are known for their high energy and grooviness, whilst blending genres together seamlessly.
Despite being relatively new to the local and international scene, DJ OBLX's extensive clubbing experience enables him to read and understand his audience, ensuring that the vibe is just right for everyone to embark on an unforgettable journey.
