Drivers that want to take card payments in their car can now do so on their mobile in Malta.

Just tap a credit or debit card on your mobile then the card number & expiry magically appear in the Charge Stripe app for Android which is available in the Play store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chargestripe

Enter the CVC and amount for the fare then the client's card is charged.

The money for the journey is in your bank account in 3 days.

You need a Stripe account as well at Stripe.com/Register.

The app is £20 annually or £2 monthly charged in Euro. Stripe commission is 1.4% + €0.25 for European Economic Area cards (+1.1% for UK cards) on each transaction.
