Established in November 2007, Flash Promotions was founded by three friends Franklin, Walter and Charlon aka DJ Unik C. Franklin and Walter have known each other for years, dating back to 1997, while Charlon was introduced by Walter to Franklin (as Charlon was a work colleague of Walter). When they met for the first time, all three, in a local bar, prior to a party, they discovered that they had similar music tastes and ambitions. One day when Charlon came back from a DJing lesson, one of them came up with the idea of organising a party. One thing lead to another and they decided to make a promotion. After weeks of preparing and giving ideas to each other, they named the promotion, 'Flash'. The concept was to deliver parties in a different way. They had their Baptism of fire in the end of year 2007, where they made there first party at O Bar. After the success of the first party they encouraged themselves and continued in the clubbing scene, doing other parties or/and promoting weekly prominent clubs in Paceville at Vinyl Club, Republik Bar, Sugar Shake Club, Silk Club, The Edge Club, Plush Lounge, Plush Club, Sin City Club, Tzers Lounge, Xaka Zulu Bar, Clique Club, Pinks Bar, Qube: The Vodka Bar, Moscow Club, Koyote Club, So City Club, Club H (Hugo’s Lounge) and Play Lounge Club. They did the official After Hours of Darren Price (Under World) Party, the official After Hours of Guru Josh Project Infinity 2008 Party and they also did other pool & beach parties. In the beginning of 2010 the Promotion stopped from the clubbing scene, for a few months while making some alterations to music policy, changes and recruiting new staff and DJs while introducing the 'Flash Promotions Crew'. On November of the same year the new Flash Promotions made its first party after its small break which was a great success. They continued expanding the Flash Promotions name by launching the new website ‘www.FlashPromoMusic.com’ on the 4th Anniversary party. The Flash Promotions website gives all the information about the Flash Promotions, including The Crew & DJs of the Promotion, Biography and other interesting activities such as surveys, music Charts & Hits etc. while being updated every day by the talented web designer Jeffrey Dimech. Today the Flash Promotions is being managed and administrated by Franklin A. Farrugia with the enormous help of his assistants and the great work of the Dimech Brothers (Lee and Jeffrey), the passion & enthusiasm of Domenic Ellul Lanfranco, Walter Mamo and other more friends. Flash Promotions has other plans for the future with the same concept to deliver parties in style and in a different way.
