This December we will present to you TIVINE FESTIVAL. A day dedicated to dances (Traditional and contemporary dances). Date for TIVINE FESTIVAL is 23rd December, 2023. More details will be made public on 22nd November, 2023.

At DZUWA Arts we believe that dances unite people. We believe that there is a lot of fun and entertainment in watching dances. But again we also believe that we can promote tourism and unite Malawians through dances. Those willing to perform at TIVINE FESTIVAL should register (either individuals or groups/crews) by contacting Mr. Gift Singini (Festival Coordinator) on the numbers below. In exactly 60 Days we will be at Kamuzu Institute Hall for Dzuwa Liwale Arts Festival - The biggest arts festival in Lilongwe.

We are bringing together poets, drama/theatre groups, singers, acrobatic groups, magicians and dancers. This will be a day full of fun as we will be appreciating Malawi's talent.

Get your tickets at only MK2,000 (in August). In September, tickets will be selling at MK4,000.

If you are in area 23 and surrounding areas, find the tickets at Area 23 Puma Filling Station (Majiga). If you are around town, find the tickets at One Heart Media Center (Lloyd Phiri's shop in Kachikungu Depot Opposite Lilongwe Bus Depot.)

DZUWA LIWALE ARTS FESTIVAL

Dzuwa Liwale Arts Festival is an annual arts festival which was launched in 2022. Dzuwa Liwale Arts Festival is a platform where artists from different arts disciplines come together under one roof to showcase their talents and skills. The Festival brings different drama/arts groups together for live drama performances. The festival also attracts poets, storytellers, dancers, (both traditional and modern/contemporary), acrobatics, stand-up comedians and several other arts disciplines.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To bring together different arts disciplines and artists plus arts practitioners to share knowledge on how to manage, market and sell talent both locally and internationally.
2. To be a platform where artists showcase their artistic live works.
3. To award outstanding artists and arts groups/companies that have made an impact in arts in Malawi.
4. To revive stage drama and drama groups that are in stagnation because of lack of platforms and direction.
5. To promote traditional dances and encourage the younger generation to be proud of their culture.

VISION
Our vision is to turn into an international arts festival/award presentation event where local and international talent will be awarded and celebrated; and be able to export local talent to the international arts market.

This year's festival will be held at the magnificent KAMUZU INSTITUTE HALL on Monday, 16th October, 2023 (Mother's Day Holiday) from 9:00AM till late (food will be available for sale). Theme for this year's festival is CELEBRATING OUR CULTURE.
Tickets for the event are selling at MK2,000 (August), MK4,000 September and MK5,000 in October. Paying the same day will be MK6,000 only.

Today we finished selling July Tickets for Dzuwa Liwale Arts Festival. August tickets will start selling on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023 at MK2,000. August tickets will be sold in selling points in areas such as Kawale, 25, 23, 22, Biwi, Likuni, Chinsapo, 18, 36 and around town. We will announce the exact places where you can get the tickets on Wednesday...

For those who may want to order the tickets from us (at a lower price) to sell, talk to us on 0211 41 42 43 or 0999 85 85 85. We will also highlight steps to follow if you want to do business at Dzuwa Liwale Arts Festival. Business such as restaurant (catering services), selling of items, transportation and advertising.

Chizmo Njuchi is performing at Dzuwa Liwale Arts Festival . We are so excited about this. Next week we will introduce other performers at the Festival. 16th October, 2023 (Mother's Day Holiday). Kamuzu Institute Hall. From 9;00AM till late.

Remember, this year's theme is CELEBRATING OUR CULTURE.

We will finish selling July Tickets (at 1000) on 31st July, 2023. In August, tickets will be selling at MK2,000. In September, tickets will be selling at MK4,000.
