***Slipknot - Tutorial, how to properly paint BLACK a green MBU-13 gas mask Craig Jones***
I've heard many many times that you just cannot paint a green MBU, that theres no way, but here I show you THAT'S BULLSH*T...using only acrilic spray paint will chip off in minutes so dont even try, ok so here's a list of what you need and the video is pretty well explained and detailed, any questions pls let me know in the comments.
240ml of black paint (acrilic preferably)
240ml of paint additive for acrilic (go to a paint store or hardware store and tell them you are gonna apply it on rubber, you will mix 50ml of additive with the paint and thinner)
100ml of PVC thinner (half to clean the MBU and half to mix with the paint and the 50ml ofadditive, the more thinner you add to the mix, the shinier it will look)
MIX WELL AND APPLY WITH A THICK PAINT BRUSH OR SPONGE
VERY IMPORTANT TO COVER EVERY PART OF THE MASK WITH THE ADDITIVE OTHERWISE THE PAINT MIX WONT STICK, YOU CAN KEEP THE REST OF THE PAINT MIX IN A PLASTIC OR GLASS CLOSED CONTAINER FOR THE FUTURE, THE ADDITIVE AS WELL, JUST REMEMBER TO SEAL THEM PROPERLY.
