We work on a shoestring budget and depend greatly on the unpaid hours of our Festival committee and volunteers, expenses increase every year.

This includes an honorarium for every musician, government permits, sound and lighting equipment rentals, design and promotion, food and drinks for the musicians, security, etc.

We found a set of keys (they look like house keys) at the Music Festival last night. If they are yours, come to the main stage tonight to claim them.

The festival began in 2001 in the backyard of a resident and has grown to include hundreds of musicians on two stages in the Plaza del Sol in San Pancho.

Held annually for three days during the last weekend of February, the San Pancho Music Festival is one of the largest musical events in the region, helping to make San Pancho the cultural heart of Nayarit.

The Festival features world-class international musicians, as well as from all over Mexico, including incredible musicians who call San Pancho and the surrounding region their home.

There is no fee to attend the Festival. It is funded by companies, individual sponsors and donations from attendees, and profits from merchandise sales of albums and bands go directly to the artists.

The Festival is completely free to attend, and we count on donations from our community to fund the expenses to offer three nights of music on two stages, secure a sound system and so much more.
