La Truco es una gran artista y, además, una reconocida profesora de flamenco. El sábado pasado, como corolario de su semana bailando en el tablao, pudimos comprobarlo en un fantástico fin de fiesta en el que participaron tanto los artistas que la acompañaron y otros invitados, como algunas de sus jovencísimas alumnas.

Ongoing workshops in Flamenco dance on the Gold Coast start October.
1st workshop 2 hours.
UNDERSTANDING COMPAS, THE METER.
Learn to count and get a feel of the beat for the different Flamenco rhythms.

How are your Palmas? Learn clapping technique.
Do you feel comfortable exclaiming and calling out support in Spanish?
Feel confident clapping and cheering spontaneously in Spanish while understanding how to dance por Fiesta.

There will be subsequent workshops focusing on choreography technique and styling.

Elaina Electrah is an international performer/ instructor, and with frequent trips back to Australia, has introduced and implemented Flamenco in many places, from Byron Bay thru Sunshine Coast and has taught Spanish dance extensively on the Eastern Coast from Melbourne to Cairns, to individuals, dance schools and dance companies. She recently had a dance school in Cairns teaching Flamenco, Cuban Salsa and Argentine Tango.
