🚨 Update on Lukeville closures.
All or most of you have seen or heard about this already but since some of you have been begging me to share something about the closure of Lukeville POE here is the official notice from USCBP.
We are aware and have received fifty or so messages and calls asking if it is real, yes it is true.
Lukeville POE will be closed starting Monday, December 4 to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic for both north and southbound travel.
San Luis and Nogales are the two other entries travelers can use.
There is no estimated time for reopening of the POE so like everyone else we will just wait and see. No one is allowed to cross without the coordination of Red Cross or if they are in an ambulance.
I ask you to please not take out your frustrations on my staff as they obviously have nothing to do with it. There have been so many people this morning who have been extremely rude to our staff and even on the store page messenger about this closing of the POE.
With that being said if we hear anything as far as a reopening date we will let you know.
