Joined San Miguel BabyBoomer lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist, Jose Medrano Ferrero of Queretaro, Mexico as we practiced San Miguel BabyBoomer's cover version of Elvis's Treat Me Nice while experimenting with electric drum machine digital fillers technology - FUN❗️

Jerry Leiber born in Baltimore, Maryland and Mike Stoller born in Belle Harbor, New York partnered as they coauthored the lyrics of Treat Me Nice for Elvis's film, Jail House Rock, as recorded in April of 1957 at Radio Recorders of Hollywood, LA. The movie version was initially produced for the movie's soundtrack. The record version was later recorded on September of 1957, also at Radio Recorders. Elvis's single release enjoyed #27 during a 10-week stay on Billboard's Top 100 chart. In addition, it reached the number one top spot on the rhythm & blues chart for a five-week period. Treat Me Nice also reached the #11 spot on the Country Disc Jockey chart that same year. Sales multiplied beyond the one million copy margin.

Happy Birthday to Eric Clapton, who turns 79 today! 🎂🎸

Widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Clapton is known for his soulful guitar playing and his strong baritone voice.
Over the course of his illustrious career, he has played with some of the most iconic bands and musicians in rock history, including The Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos.

Beyond his work with these bands, Clapton has also had a successful solo career spanning several decades, releasing numerous albums that have earned critical and commercial success. His hits like "Layla," "Tears in Heaven," and "Wonderful Tonight" are just a few examples of his enduring musical legacy.

He has been inducted into several halls of fame throughout his career.

In addition to his contributions to music, Clapton has also been involved in various charitable causes, including his work in founding the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a treatment center for people struggling with addiction.

The popular "Don't Be Cruel," written by Otis Black as recorded by Elvis Presley in 1956, was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002.
