【槟州华人大会堂150周年堂庆】
槟州华人大会堂将在今年迎来创会150周年的重要里程碑，并将于2025年12月7日（星期日）举办隆重的槟州华人大会堂150周年堂庆暨青年团44周年、妇女组40周年纪念联欢宴会。堂庆筹备工作已全面启动，由大会主席丹斯里陈坤海博士领导，工委会各单位齐心携手，以专业精神与团队力量，共同打造一场具历史意义的庆典盛会。
槟州华人大会堂150周年堂庆当天内容丰富、规格隆重，将充分展现槟华堂一百五十年的传承与时代使命。为迎接这一历史性时刻，槟华堂也将于下午6时在大会堂前呈献尊巴舞蹈表演及醒狮团表演、欢迎公众提前到场观赏。

【Penang Chinese Town Hall 150th Anniversary Celebration】
The Penang Chinese Town Hall will be marking a significant milestone this year as it celebrates the 150th anniversary of its founding. A grand celebration banquet, in conjunction with the 150th Anniversary of the Penang Chinese Town Hall, the 44th Anniversary of the Youth Section, and the 40th Anniversary of the Women’s Section, will be held on 7 December 2025 (Sunday).
The preparation for this milestone celebration is fully underway under the leadership of the Organising Committee Chairman, Tan Sri Dr. Tan Khoon Hai, with all committee sections working together to deliver a truly significant and historic occasion.
Furthermore, the 150th Anniversary Celebration will showcase the Penang Chinese Town Hall's 150-year past and its ongoing mission in modern society through a rich and outstanding program. To welcome this historic occasion, a Zumba performance and lion dance performance will be presented at 6:00 PM in front of the building, and the public is warmly encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the performances.
As we keep working toward cultural and community development together, the Penang Chinese Town Hall respectfully encourages members of the public from all sectors to show their support and attention, as well as to join us in celebrating this outstanding milestone.

槟州华人大会堂多年担任《爱槟城跑》的协作单位及场地赞助方，今年也同样继续支持这一项深受欢迎的全民健康活动。今年的爱槟城跑将于11月23日（星期日）早上7时在大山脚柏迪路体育场举行，预计吸引逾万名参与者。本堂与主办单位携手，通过提供场地与长期合作，共同推动健康运动风气，促进社区联系，并为槟城打造更具活力的城市氛围。
今年的五公里路线将带领参与者穿梭大山脚的街景，展现地方魅力与多元文化。主办方已安排周详的交通与安全措施，以确保活动顺利进行。本堂也呼吁所有参与者配合现场人员指示，提早抵达现场，并尽量使用公共交通或指定停车场，让整体交通更顺畅，也让大家享有更愉悦的参赛体验。
槟州华人大会堂将继续与各单位携手合作，并期待与所有跑者一起，以健康的脚步为社区注入活力，共同为槟城加油。
Penang Chinese Town Hall has been the long-time collaborating partner and venue sponsor of the Love Penang Run, and continues to support this well-loved community health event this year. The upcoming Love Penang Run will take place on Sunday, 23 November at 7 AM in Bukit Mertajam, with more than ten thousand participants expected. Through its continuous partnership and venue support, Penang Chinese Town Hall works closely with the organisers to promote healthy living, strengthen community connection, and contribute to an energetic and vibrant Penang.
This year’s 5km route will guide runners through the streets of Bukit Mertajam, showcasing its charm and multicultural character. Comprehensive traffic and safety measures have been arranged to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone. Participants are encouraged to follow on-site guidance, arrive early, and make use of public transport or designated parking areas to help maintain smooth traffic flow and enjoy a pleasant race experience.

由槟城阅书报社联合槟州华人大会堂举办的《和平之夜》文艺晚会，于 2025年11月11日晚上8时 在 槟城华人大会堂平章礼堂 隆重举行，吸引 700 名观众到场，共同追忆历史、珍惜和平。
晚会以纪录片、诗歌朗诵、歌唱、舞蹈及舞台剧《奋斗：历史篇》呈现多元艺术形式，带领观众重温先贤在二战时期的坚持、牺牲与信念。现场也同步展出《中国人民抗战暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年》图片展，让大众在影像与艺术之间深刻体悟和平得来不易。
槟州华人大会堂署理主席拿督黄天隆表示，希望透过这场演出提醒大家：和平从来不是理所当然，而是每一代人必须共同守护的责任。中国驻槟城总领事周游斌亦指出: 80年前的战火告诉我们，唯有彼此尊重、平等相待与守望相助，才能维护世界和平，避免历史悲剧重演。

🕊️✨ Night of Peace — Remembering History, Embracing Peace ✨🕊️
The Night of Peace cultural evening, jointly organized by the Penang Philomathic Union and the Penang Chinese Town Hall, was held on 11 November 2025, 8:00 PM at the Banquet Hall of Penang Chinese Town Hall, attracting an impressive audience of 700 attendees.
The event featured a rich blend of documentary screenings, poetry recitations, vocal performances, dance pieces and the theatrical performance “Thrive: The History Chapter”. Through these artistic expressions, the audience revisited the sacrifices and resilience shown during World War II.
An exhibition titled “80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War” was also showcased, it offering a meaningful visual reflection on the value of peace.
Dato’ Hwang Thean Long, Deputy President of the Penang Chinese Town Hall, emphasized that peace is never taken for granted — it is a responsibility for every generation to uphold.
Zhou Youbin, Consul General of China in Penang, highlighted that the lessons of wartime history remind us that only through mutual respect, equality and cooperation among nations can the world maintain lasting peace and avoid repeating past tragedies.
Presented by Hui Yin Seh and The Sun Theatre, and supported by the Consulate-General of China in Penang, the event successfully brought the community together through the power of art, reinforcing a shared commitment to cherish and safeguard peace.

🤝深化两地经贸文化合作

为进一步加强与中国四川省归国华侨联合会及人大常委的友好交流与合作，槟州华人大会堂主席丹斯里陈坤海博士上校率领代表团一行十一人，于2025年11月12日至17日赴中国四川省进行友好访问。此次访问应四川省侨联及人大常委会之邀请，旨在深化槟城与四川在经贸、文化、教育等领域的务实合作，推动马中民间交流不断迈向新高度。

🤝延续情谊，深化合作
回顾过去，2024年9月11日，中国四川省人大常委会及四川省归国华侨联合会代表团曾莅临槟州华人大会堂访问交流。双方就促进中马两国在经贸与文化领域的合作进行了深入探讨，并共同见证了槟华堂与成都市侨联签署合作协议书，为两地往来奠定了坚实基础，意义深远。
本次访问，是对去年友好交流成果的延续与深化，标志着两地侨团合作迈入新的阶段。

🏅✨ Moving Forward in Sports and Spirit ✨🏅
On the evening of November 8, 2025, the Penang Forward Sports Club marked its 39th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at the Banquet Hall of Penang Chinese Town Hall, gathering athletes, coaches, community leaders, and sports enthusiasts for a truly inspiring night.

For nearly four decades, the club has embodied the spirit of unity, discipline, and compassion — promoting healthy living while giving back to society.
This year, PFSC raised over RM372,000 for the Silver Jubilee Home for the old folks, showing that sports can indeed touch lives beyond the field.

Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow commended the club for being a shining example of how sports can build stronger, more caring communities.
Club chairman Dato’ Lim also shared that while the club has yet to build its own place, but it has never stopped moving forward — instead, it continues to light the way for others.

🕊️ 缅怀先烈，铭记历史，珍惜和平
今早11时11分，亚依淡交通圈旁的抗战纪念碑举行了华侨抗战殉职机工暨罹难同胞纪念碑公祭仪式。场面庄严肃穆，逾八十个团体代表齐聚一堂，向为国捐躯的南侨机工与罹难同胞致以最崇高的敬意。
槟州华人大会堂的代表出席者包括主祭华堂副主席拿督郑荣兴、拿督王益辉上校、准拿督黄明毅硕士、准拿督陈剑豪、拿督洪杰生、邱武才、傅金钟、李源春和王美才。
华堂副主席拿督郑荣兴在致辞中表示，南侨机工是和平的守护者，他们无惧战火、勇往直前，用生命换来了今日的安宁。他呼吁大家继续传承南侨机工精神，以史为鉴，守护和平。

The Persatuan Taiji Pulau Pinang 53rd Anniversary Celebration Dinner was held in grandeur on November 3, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of Penang Chinese Town Hall, bringing together a night of unity, gratitude, and celebration.
During his speech, YB Daniel Gooi Zi Sen, Penang State EXCO for Youth, Sports, and Health, proposed a collaborative initiative with the association to promote a “Tai Chi for All” movement, encouraging more citizens to stay active and healthy through Tai Chi practice.
He also emphasized that sports are not only about competition, but also the foundation of public health and community harmony. Over the past 53 years, the association has been a vital force in promoting Tai Chi culture and holistic wellness in Penang.
