'I am not sure whether I would continue my rhythmic gymnastics when I go to secondary school but I will miss those trainings for the past 5 years and the fulfillment when I am on stage with medals in my hands.'

STORY OF YOUNG GYMNAST #3

- CHLOE TANG:
'Then in Primary 2, the opportunity came and I summed up my courage to present myself in front of the gymnastic teacher-in-charge, telling her my passion to join the team. Together with the gym trainer, both of them re-assess my potential and I was very fortunate to be accepted into the school team!'

' Gymnastic trainings have never been easy. We trained 3 days a week, staying back in school 3 hours to be “tortured” by the trainers. Prior to competitions, the frequency and intensity of trainings increases. There are many occasions where I felt like quitting but encouragements from my parents pushed me on. I felt that all the effort and pain was worth it when I am recognized during competitions, receiving various medals for my performance.'

' I joined my school rhythmic gymnastics team at the age of 8.
I remembered when our school wanted us to select a curriculum activity in Primary 1, I looked forward to joining the gymnastic team after seeing my seniors performing gracefully using balls, hoops, ribbons and clubs on stage.'
