Atas beberapa sebab yang tidak dapat di elakkan " Program Majlis Rumah Terbuka Raya , Sambutan Hari Guru dan Festival Makanan Tradisional " yang sepatutnya di adakan di Dewan UiTM Raub , bertukar lokasi ke baru :

SATE PADANG YG SEDAP DIRAUB

Saya jarang makan malam di rumah, maka masakan umi Hafiz selalunya cukup untuk anak-anak sahaja.

Tapi malam tadi, saya lapar.

Tekak mengidam merayu minta disuapkan dengan makanan yang pedas dan panas. Yang terlintas, mi Maggie. Ah! Bosan. Burger juga sudah muak.

Lalu teringat Sate Padang.

Aduh!

Kecur air liur dibuatnya.

Saya segera capai kunci motor, saya mesti segera mencari makanan eksotik Minang itu kerana air liur sudah menitis-nitis bagai air paip singki yang rosak. Saya sudah tak kisah dengan hanya berkain pelikat dan baju ala-ala tshirt pagoda, terus melompat keluar melalui tingkap dan dengan perkasanya saya tendang engkol motor (pakai starter sebenarnya).

Vroooommmm!

"Bang, sate padang bungkus satu!"

"Siap!"

Dan saya melihat proses pembungkusan sate Padang pedas dengan berlapikkan daun pisang dan panas itu dengan emosi pemakanan rakus yang tercedera parah.


Harganya RM 6.00 sebungkus.

Ada lima cucuk sate, boleh pilih atau campur antara daging dan ayam .Sebagai warga Gout yang terpilih, saya meminta ayam saja demi kejayaan masa hadapan.

"Sate ayam 200 cucuk, mas."

Kah kah kah! Dialog Suzanna dalam filem Sundel Bolong ni memang angker.

Profesional

Segalanya tentang sate padang ini, khasnya di gerai ini, sangat memikat. Gaya penyediaannya sangat profesional, walaupun gerainya biasa sahaja. Saya teruja melihat gaya tukang sate membungkus makanan khas Minang ini, sangat bersih dan kemas. Bungkusannya elok tak comot. Sate yang baru dibakar, bersatu dengan potongan nasi impit lalu disiram dengan kuah khas sate yang pekat, likat, panas memikat.

Huih!

Kalau si Hafiz pun sampai menumpang makan dua cucuk tanpa ragu-ragu, itu sudah cukup menjadi satu penanda aras kesedapannya. Bersungguh dia makan, ..

Lokasi & Waktu Operasi

Saya tak pasti bila waktu operasinya. Yang saya tahu gerai ini dibuka pada waktu petang time PKP ni (mungkin bermula sekitar jam 4-7 petang), setiap hari.

Kedudukannya di tapak pekan sari bukit koman , Raub Pahang. Hampir benar dengan bulatan bukit koman . Kalau terlajak sekali pun, tak mengapa. Hanya ada satu saja gerai sate padang di sini.
