In an SCA International Cat Show, a *mono-breed ring* is a specialized competition where only cats of a single breed are judged. Here's a breakdown of how it typically works:

1. **Breed-Specific Judging**: Unlike general rings, which may have multiple breeds being judged together, a mono-breed ring focuses solely on one breed (e.g., only British short hair cats or only Maine C***s). This ensures that cats are evaluated strictly within the standards of their breed.

2. **Eligibility**: Only cats of the specific breed registered in the show are allowed to compete in this ring.

3. **Judging Criteria**: The cats are judged based on breed standards set by the SCA.

What is Mono Breed Ring?

A mono breed ring in a cat show is a competition where only cats of a single breed are judged.
