I think every MUA has gone through this at least once... especially female MUAs. 😂

When it's your own family event, you have so many plans...
"I'll wear this outfit."
"I'll curl my hair."
"I'll go get my hair done before the event."

But in the end... none of it happens. 🤣

We're too busy making sure everyone else in the family looks glamorous that we completely forget about ourselves.

And I swear... this 5-minute rush to get ourselves ready is even more stressful than a bride's second saree change! 😭😂

AMMA ❤️

There is no word greater than Amma.

Married young, became a mother at 17, and raised 6 children with endless love and sacrifices. At 35, she lost Appa, but instead of breaking, she stayed strong for us.

She fought diabetes, kidney failure, and even survived coma twice Through it all, she never stopped being a mother. Even today, she makes sure we have eaten before she eats.

For her 50th birthday, she was in the hospital. Today, at 55, we finally get to celebrate her.

Not with a grand event, but with the people who love her most.

As a makeup artist, I felt honoured to do her makeover today. Not because she's my client, but because she's my Amma.

A true fighter. A true queen. My biggest inspiration. ❤️

Happy 55th Birthday, Amma. We love you more than words can ever express. ✨🥹❤️
