The 19th Malaysia International Branding Showcase (MIBS 2024) is scheduled to take place from November 28th to 30th, 2024, at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Halls 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. With approximately 550 booths, this esteemed event will include a broad range of international exhibitors from regions including Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Jilin, Guizhou, Fujian, Yunnan, Sichuan, Taiwan, Pakistan, Iran, Korea, Japan, and beyond. Halls 4 and 5 will be showcasing these overseas pavilions, while Halls 1 and 2 will showcase our distinguished local exhibitors.

MIBS 2024 has specially planned four primary categories for this year’s exhibition: the Malaysia Import and Export Commodity Fair, the Malaysia International Garment and Fabrics Expo, the Malaysia International Smart Commodity Expo, and the Malaysia International Traditional & Complementary Health Food Product Expo, alongside the Malaysia International Food and Beverage Fair. 五新高科技论坛7月份举行
中国塑料业者来马交流预热
（吉隆坡26日讯）马中国际贸工连线总会（MACITA）主办，马讯国际展览私人有限公司（ES）承办之“马中建交50周年纪念活动—高科技论坛”筹备工作已如火如荼进行中，旨在汇聚马中各领域工业界于一堂，交流最新生产技术，促进行业整体发展，提升两国经济增长。
今日，中国塑料机械工业协会常务副会长粟东平、秘书长陈栋栋、副秘书长吴建伦，在西麦克国际展览有限责任公司总经理助理崔馨友及员工温万河的携同下，拜访主办单位以了解论坛概况，并针对高科技课题进行交流。
出席贵宾包括蕉赖区国会议员陈国伟、MACITA永久名誉会长爵士夫人潘斯里谢叔珍博士、ES董事经理拿督张创迪及总经理拿汀方淑华。
陈国伟致辞表示，包括AI在内的各种科技创新，都是国家经济和发展的催化剂，而中国在科技创新方面的表现可谓一日千里，走出了一条从人才强、工业强，到产业强、经济强、国家强的发展道路，藉此成为世界第2大经济体，这是马来西亚中小企业必须学习的对象。
他说：“企业创新是不可逆转之路，要创新则必须结力中国，或借力中国，站在这个科技巨人的肩膀上，继续往前走。配合马中建交50周年而特别企划的五新科技论坛，是与强者接触、与智者为伍的平台，也是识变、应变、求变的取经场合，必能为参与者带来指引，有所斩获。”
陈国伟也向来自远方的客人发出邀请，希望他们能在论坛上和马来西亚中小企业一起探讨塑胶工业在永续发展和环境环保的可能性。他亦期待这场论坛能全面提升国内中小企业的环保技术，帮助政府迈向于2050年达到零碳排放量的目标。
塑料在环保扮演重要角色
粟东平表示，塑料在不同行业扮演不同的角色，不仅难以被其他材料取代，反而在诸如制造电动汽车等各领域的使用还呈现大幅度增加。然而在业者的努力下，目前的塑料大部分都做到可再循环使用。
她分析道：“塑料甚至在一些行业内还成为新材料，例如在建筑领域里代替钢材及玻璃质材，因为它更防燃及保暖，更少污染空气。目前，塑料在医疗及医美领域的应用也有很大进步，并被用作许多器材的新材料。”
无论如何，她不否认在某些情况下应该减少使用塑料产品，譬如一次性的塑胶袋。
五新主题涵盖面广
张创迪表示，这次论坛以五新为主题，分别代表新能源、新材料、新技术、新产品及新经济。让国内中小企业有个概念如何使用新材料、新技术来制造新产品，同时也使用更环保的新能源，参与推动马来西亚的新经济。同时，论坛配合“第35届马来西亚国际机械展”举行，方便听众在论坛上汲取资讯后，能够直接在展会上获取新技术和新材料。
他透露：“高科技论坛是ES庆祝马中建交50周年的重点活动，因为马中于1974年建交后，中国商务部与贸促会于1981年举办第一场海外中国出口商品交易会地点就在吉隆坡，而我是其中一个承办单位，并因此在稍后成立ES，以促进马中贸易为核心业务，所以此纪念日意义重大。”
