Hot Mama's Kitchen went down memory lane with this classic Kristang Dish called 'Binyuk Aluk (stingray)'. This brought back memories to when Grandma used to cook it. Essentially, made with liberal use of cumin&fennel seeds and vinegar among other herbs. The taste is a killer! It is so aromatic with a lasting tangy taste.

Last week was amazing! We received good response over the sale of our Fresh Ready-Mix 'Rempah'. What makes our Read-Mix 'Rempah' so special, you may ask? Well, you will be pleased to know that we do not make them in bulk and freeze them in the fridge. Instead, it is freshly made 'per order' basis to ensure that it is done on the same day it is delivered to our customer. All you need to do is to cook it straightaway and add the necessary meat/fish accordingly.

Hot Mama’s Kitchen has finally arrived! The first order of business is to thank all our fans and followers for liking and sharing our FB/IG page to help take us to the next level. We are pleased to bring you Portuguese-Eurasian Classics i.e. Dishes, Cakes, Cookies, Bread and Bottled Delights. Our recipes are of 3rd Generation Classics from Grandmas’ Kitchen and they are simple treasures that many have forgotten. Aside to this, we also present Traditional All-Time Favorites such as Pies & Pastries and Asian Kitchen Must-Haves.

Of ‘Hendroff’ and ‘Beins’ parentage, naturally my mom Irene Hendroff is my biggest mentor and i owe the inheritance of these recipes to her. Her pickles and cakes have reached many states in Malaysia, even as far as Singapore. It has been so exciting getting the menu prepared and we are ready to rock n’ roll!
