Nationality: Malaysia

Let's welcome our HEAD of Judge LENG POH GEE 🤩

Leng Poh Gee holds a PhD in dance from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Master of Arts (Performing Arts) from Universiti Malaya (UM) and a Bachelor of Science (Human Development) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He was a formal lecturer at the University of Malaya and a formal full-time dancer at the Dua Space Dance Theatre. He is currently a dance lecturer at the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, a committee member of the My Dance Alliance, and a dance notation facilitator for the Yayasan Warisan Johor.

Nationality: Philippines

Lets welcome NOEMI

Maria Noemi Onglengco-Silangcruz, born to a family of ballerinas, started ballet at age 3. She began teaching ballet at age 17 and has since taught at various schools, including MET Dance School and Ballet & Arts Centre. Noemi is a resident ballet teacher of Hotlegs Dance Company and has students who have won in various competitions in the Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, Hongkong, Vietnam, and Cambodia. She is an institutional member of the Association of Ballet Academies, Philippines (ABAP) and has co-directed the ABAP online dance competition for two years. Noemi is also an International Dance Judge for the Asia Pacific Arts Festival held annually in Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia since 2018.

Nationality: Indonesia

Let's welcome LISA SALIM

Lisa, a passionate ballet dancer, began her training at the age of 11 at Marlupi Dance Academy. She completed Advanced 2 of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and obtained a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) in 2008. Lisa has been teaching ballet and jazz since high school and has been appointed as a head of MDA's branch and director of jazz. She also trained at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching in Sydney, Australia, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) in Kuala Lumpur. In 2018, she opened her own dance school, Jakarta School of Art, with the goal of promoting Indonesian dancers nationally and internationally.

Name: Daisuke Takeuchi
Nationality: Japan

Let's welcome DAISUKE TAKEUCHI

Daisuke Takeuchi, born in Japan, began ballet at six years old and joined the Royal Ballet Upper School in London in 1997. He graduated in 1999 and won two music prizes. He later joined the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in the USA in 2000 and was promoted to soloist in 2004. He taught at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and Point Park University, eventually becoming Principal in 2006. Takeuchi retired in 2009 due to a knee injury. He has also taught at Saratoga Summer Dance Intensive, special judge for the International Youth Dance Contest, and assistant director at Marty Ballet Dancers Company.

Let's welcome ANNE DYER

Anne Dyer ARAD is an accomplished international dance teacher, musician, artist, and founder of Dance Star Studio. With over 58 years of experience, she has taught dance internationally and has a performance career in London, Belgium, France, and Australia. Anne's roots stem from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabi and London Dance Center. She has taught at various institutions and is an RAD mentor to new teachers. She continues to pass on her knowledge and love of dance to her students.

Nationality: Indonesia

Let's welcome MATHIAS ASMORO

Mathias Asmoro is a competitive dancer with over two years of experience teaching KPOP and hip hop dance classes at the Jakarta School of Art. He has taught workshops at Kajja Entertainment, K-Lab Dance, Central Market P*K, and KPOP Awaken Dance Workshops. Matias has choreographed for various events, including Auw Genta's performance in Kpop Invasion Dance Cover Competition and the grand launch of Samsung Galaxy Flip Z5. He has also served as a judge for Kpop dance covers and modern dance 25 times. Matias has performed in various kpop dance cover competitions and events, including Femme Fatale, Enhypen World Tour FATE+, and the Enhypen World Tour FATE+ in Jakarta. He has won several awards, including First Place in Tamini, Tangcity, Beehive, Indonesian Kpop Style Dance, Gangnam to Shibuya, National Solo Final Kpop Kingdom Festival Dance Cover Competition, RX Team Dance Cover Competition, and National Solo Final Kpop Idol Competition.

Lionel is an aspiring dancer with 6 years of being in the dance scene that used to be leading and choreographing for a group in ITE COLLEGE WEST, Korean Dance Wave. He began his journey with KPOP and has since developed a huge interest in open choreography and Hip Hop which ultimately led him to compete in numerous competitions since 2017. Lionel believes that creativity and knowledge should be shared. Lionel hopes that the art of dance is nurtured and cultivated to the youths in Singapore.

Name:Muhammad Izwan bin Suhairi
Nationality:Malaysia

Let's welcome MUHAMMAD IZWAN BIN SUHAIRI

Since 2000, Muhammad Izwan bin Suhairi has been involved in the arts, joining the BUDAYA group under the National Department of Culture and Arts. After finishing school, he went to Jantik as an assistant to the TUNAS BUDAYA group. They received education in various arts, including dance, acting, vocal and others. He participated in dance and choreographer classes organized by JKKN and were recognized as a National Cultural Arts Trainer level 1 in 2006. He were appointed as choreographers at SK AU KERAMAT and SK BUKIT DAMANSARA, both of which participated in competitions organized by the Department of Education Malaysia and won awards domestically and internationally. He are a recipient of the Malaysian Skills Certificate in Dance for levels 2 and 3. From 2009 to 2021, he became a cultural artist in the Arts Group of the Department of Culture and National Arts, and in 2022, he were appointed as a choreographer at JKRN-Negeri Sembilan. He have participated in major Malaysian performances and represented Malaysia abroad. He hold an Executive Diploma in Human Resources at Cybernet College of Technology Kuala Lumpur and are currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of North Malaysia via Distance Learning.

Nationality:China

Let's welcome CELINE ZHENG

Celine, founder of the Aidier Art Center, graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in modern dance from the Bobigny National Conservatory of Music in France. She was the head of the art troupe of the "France-China-France Association for Education of English Talents" and a dance choreographer for France Ouming Culture and Art Co., Ltd. She created the play "BLACE SEASON" with Italian choreographer JODINIQUE and won the Best Performance Award at the Paris Art Festival.

In 2011, her choreographed dance "X" won the Best Project Award at the Bobigny National Conservatory of Music in France. In 2017, she led the group to win the gold medal at the 15th International Youth Spring Festival Gala at Tsinghua University in Beijing for her choreography of "White Egrets Flying". She also advanced to the "Sunshine Youth National Competition" and performed the dance "Metamorphosis" at the "Aotou Facing the Sea Art Festival."

Celine believes that dance is not just an art form but also a form of inherited power and cultural sharing. Art education aims to cultivate children's aesthetics, character, and quality, allowing them to appreciate the beauty and preciousness of life.

Name: Dr. Mahakit Lerdcheewanan
Nationality:Thailand

Let's welcome Dr. Mahakit Lerdcheewanan

Dr. Mahakit Lerdcheewanan is a violin faculty member and member of the Libere String Quartet at the College of Music, Mahidol University in Thailand. He has performed with various orchestras in the United States, including the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, and Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra. In Thailand, he primarily performs with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and Siam Sinfonietta and has toured extensively. Dr. Lerdcheewanan was invited to serve as a concertmaster for the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra during their 2022 tour in Europe. For 10 years, the Libere Quartet has collaborated with internationally renowned artists, such as Christoph Hartmann and Benjamin Hoadley. The quartet is dedicated to teaching and educational outreach, working with hundreds of Thai students in masterclasses, private, and group classes. Dr. Lerdcheewanan is passionate about contemporary music and has premiered works by international composers. In 2019, he was honored when Thai composer Anantasit Na-Gnam dedicated a violin concerto to him. During his study in the USA, he was a member of the Constantinides New Music String Quartet, which performed regularly in Baton Rouge, USA.

Name:Marcin Szawelski

Let's welcome MARCIN SZAWELSKI

Cellist Marcin Szawelski has been teaching cello and chamber music at the College of Music, Mahidol University since 2006, and currently serves as the chair of the String & Chamber Music Department. He has written two textbooks, "Elementary Techniques and Fundamental Warm Ups for Cellists with a Selection of Compositions by H.R.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej" (2017) and "Manual of Selected Orchestral Excerpts for Cello" (2019), to supplement existing pedagogical literature for cellists at multiple levels. Szawelski has also been a cellist with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) since 2006, giving over 600 performances. His extensive experience as an orchestral musician has led to numerous collaborations with international soloists and orchestra tours in Japan, New Zealand, Laos, Myanmar, and Malaysia. Szawelski's passion for teaching and education extends into orchestral coaching, as he has been a cello instructor for SAYOWE and SEAYCO since 2007. His love of chamber music drives his endeavors, with collaborations with various ensembles like the Libere String Quartet, International Quintet, and the AmaCor Trio. Szawelski's artistic mentors and musical influences include renowned cellists such as Stefan Popov, Maria Tchaikovska, Peter Leisegang, and Roman Jablonski.
