After many years, this humble Momorei bakery which is named after my dog Momo and "rei" for "beautiful" in Japanese will now be rebranded to Two Fat Cats.
I have been considering to rebrand for a long time, since the name Momorei is difficult to remember. Most of my friends and customers remember my name more than the brand itself. 😂
For a long time, I couldn't come out with any catchy name. Due to our passion for rescuing animals, my partner and I decided to name it to Two Fat Cats, representing.. well, our two fat cats.
Oreo (black and white cat) was found with a broken leg and the other cat, Soba was a malnourished kitten. We couldn't find adopters for both of them and they have been with us since then.
Today, Soba is a FIP warrior as well but she is not out of observation period yet.
FIP = Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a progressive and highly fatal systemic disease of cats.
Here's the new logo for Two Fat Cats (There wasn't any logo for Momorei , just text on the label) . I will soon update the new location and the baked goods that will be offered by Two Fat Cats.
