Here are the highlights of Startups & SMEs Malaysia Meetup #84 on Funding 101 where we explored the perspective of investors on why they choose to invest money into a startup or a founder. We started with Iskandar Shafii from Growth Charger sharing about their upcoming accelerator Cohort. Then followed up with awesome sharing from Ben T. Lim, Founder of NEXEA Group, Mike Smith, Founding Partner of 1337 Ventures, Kashminder Singh, Co-founder of pitchIN and Sarviin Ageelen, Early Stage Ventures Team at Plug and Play. Some excellent questions from the audience too.
We also gave away our new 'Entrepreneur' t-shirts to spread some positive vibes. Thank you once again to all our supporters; AWS Malaysia, WORQ, NEXEA, Beamstart, JomHack, Printcious & Remote Work Malaysia for making this happen. Hope to see everyone again for our July meetup! Stay tuned for more updates on the next session.
