You have a purpose to fulfil – Be you!
Do you know your purpose? Have you ever wondered what your purpose on earth is? If you know, are you fulfilling your purpose? I believe a lot of us are robbing the world of our talents and gifts due to not knowing our purpose.
How do we know our purpose? You can only know your purpose through the one who created you, that is why it’s essential for you to have a relationship with God because only He can reveal it to you. There is a reason you are here on earth, you are not here by mistake. There is a reason why God created you short or tall, loud, talkative or quiet, with a deep or sweet voice, there is a reason you like doing certain things but not others.
Psalm 139:13-15 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.”
You are fearfully and wonderfully made, God made you in His own image, isn’t that just amazing? So why try to be someone else, why compare yourself with others? I remember there was a certain time when I’d look at people and say that I wanted to be like them. An example of this is that I am a very opinionated person, I am an encourager, I love giving people hope and I love happy people, so what I would do is that I would go to a certain place especially maybe meeting up for bible study and I would tell myself that I wouldn’t say anything that day, I would then just be quiet and just let people talk, but because that is not my character, I would end up just jumping in and start talking.
Another example is that I love looking good, so I would try to convince myself that I would like to dress simple like some people that I know, but because it’s not in me and I would often find myself walking back in the house to dress up. This is because this is who I am and God created me to be like that. I have learned to embrace who I am over the years and never be apologetic about it. Because I realized God created me like that for a purpose and I will use my uniqueness to optimize my purpose.
My advice to you today is; know your Identity, know your purpose, embrace who you are, use that talent or gift God blessed you with, your physicality, your wisdom, your smile, your voice, your situation, use it to bring hope in the world, the fact that you are still alive means that the world needs your uniqueness, so don’t rob it of that.

God has a purpose for every one – But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth” (Exodus 9:16).
Who you are, your situation, your dreams, gifts and talents have purpose – “The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out” (Proverbs 20:5).
God is a good God and He has good plan for your life – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
God’s purpose is the only one that lasts – “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” (Proverbs 19:21).
Finding your purpose means making an Impact – “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16 MSG)
With all that said, let us love ourselves and be who God created us to be, you are enough, you are perfect for the purpose you were created for. Let’s live a purpose filled life and let us leave this world empty, knowing that we pour out everything that God put in us. Shalom
