Is Matriculation Necessary?

Uchenna got admission into the university. He was excited and so packed his bag and headed for school. He finished processing and paying his fees and was told he required to matriculate with other students.

What is Matriculation he asked?

Matriculation is a program organized by the school management to welcome newly admitted students into a university, Polytechnic or college.

Matriculation formally makes you a bonafide students because it is expected that you would have been given orientation before the matriculation. You cannot claim ignorance of any of your action after you are Matriculated.

Often, students invite friends and family to celebrate with them. It is one of the most important program in the academic life of any student. Students prepare different dishes and come with drinks in celebration of the landmark.

Pictures are taken during the program to keep memories. Most Students enlarge their matriculation pictures for future. This is to remind themselves of that day.
Abia State Polytechnic, Aba is set to have it's Matriculation on Friday 14th July, 2023
