DAY 9 - SUN. 28TH MAY 2023
*OFFER YOURSELF AS A LIVING SACRIFICE TO GOD*
_Romans 12:1-2_
Beloved in the Lord, to offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God, simply means to use your body and every component part of your body to serve God in righteousness. The members of your body includes eyes, legs, mouth, tongue, ears, hands, head etc. It also means to entirely dedicate every part of your body to serve God. To surrender to Him completely and serve him with your whole being. Put it in another way, when you sacrifice yourself to God as a living sacrifice, it means that your body is no longer your own. It entirely belongs to God. This means that you can use any part of your body to do what will be pleasing to God and for His glory. On this note, you can only desire and do what your owner wants because you are not your own.
Additionally, it means that you will not be conformed to the standard of the world. Conforming to the standard of the world is defined in *1 John 2:15-16* , as indulging in the lust of the flesh. When you offer yourself as a living sacrifice, you have made Jesus the Lord of every part of your body and what you sacrificed is no longer your own. I therefore urge you to offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God, so that you can only live your life according to His will, for His glory.
Before the end of this program, the Lord will grant you the Grace to offer yourself as a living sacrifice to Him so that you will live your life in and for Him. In otherword, your life, pain, affliction, sicknesses, barrenness, poverty, lack, untimely death and everything that is associated with you, belongs to Him. On this note, all your problems and challenges are completely over, because they belong to your owner in the name of Jesus.
*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Oh Lord, everything in me that is not allowing me serve you well, be uprooted by fire in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, by your power, grant me the grace to surrender and dedicate my life to you as a living sacrifice in the name of Jesus.
3. My Father, my Father, locate me for uncommon favour and breakthrough so that by the end of this program, I will testify of your goodness in the name of Jeus.
