Have you ever seen a teenager's face light up at the prospect of chopping vegetables? Me neither. Many parents worry about their kids' lack of cooking skills. I noticed this too, especially with the so-called "Indomie generation." So, I decided to experiment with a fun solution: a cooking contest! Guess what? Even the laziest of the lazy was part of the contest.

All they needed to do was cook, and the judge would judge. Because there was a prize attached, they asked their moms to teach them how to cook their meal of choice. The possibility of being called the winner motivated them even more. Along the way, my experiment transformed from an experiment into a win-win situation.

Parents enjoyed seeing their kids learn to cook in a fun way. Teenagers, who had previously been lazy, eagerly learned different cooking styles to prepare for the competition. Parents are happy, children feel fulfilled, and I found out again that sometimes, dreams come true unknowingly.
