It used to be pillow/ round doughnut. When filled, it was always called jam filled doughnut. Well aside jam, there are other fillings like Nutella, chocolate, cream custard and so on but not as popular as jam; it can also be sugar coated. But later light shone on it and it transition into the trending milky doughnut, whoever invented that, don't know what the person was thinking. Milky doughnut came and the trend is subsiding or let me say has subsided but our dear pillow doughnut still remain it's humble self. Its rich, soft, milky and yummy. It can be snack on anytime of the day.
