When I started using pen in my primary school, and I made a mistake, I would try hard to erase it before submitting to my teacher.

Sometimes, I use chalk to clean my mistake but it later reappeared. So I began to use saliva, it worked, but only to leave holes in my books.
My teachers then used to beat me for being outrageously dirty. But all I tried to do was to cover my error.

One day, a kind hearted teacher who loved me so much called me aside and he said, " Anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on" .
He said further " Trying to erase your mistakes would only damage your book to nothing.
I told him in protest that I don't want people to see my mistake.

My loving teacher laughed and said " Trying to erase your mistake will make more people know about your mess and the stigma is for life".

Have you made some mistakes in life? Cross it over and move on. Don't expose yourself as a result of trying to cover your mistakes.

Steps to make the best Chinchin

1. Always mix your dry ingredients separately, and your wet ingredients separately
Then add everything together

2. Ensure to dissolve your sugar inside your wet ingredients before adding it to your dry ingredients

3. Don't over work your chinchin dough,it requires soft work 😆

4.Ensure you allow the dough to rest for 30mins before rolling.Make sure you cover with towel or nylon or cling film so your dough won't dry out,you don't want to have a flaky and cracky dough

5. If you are working on Bulk order,don't mix everything at once especially when you don't have helping hands.mix in batches.
Or mix all your dry ingredients separately, your wet ingredients separately but don't add them together at once

6. Don't use too much baking powder

7. Do you desire a crunchy chinchin?less butter and no egg
Soft and rich chinchin for a special order?more butter,eggs,evaporated milk and industrial flavor to the rescue 😋

8. If you are Producing for large scale, no need of adding eggs
Eggs are capable of reducing the shelf life of your chinchin
Your chinchin will grow mould faster if you use eggs

9. Don't roll your dough too slim,too thin is not good if you dont want a hard chinchin. if you doubt me check Minimie chinchin

10.When frying,ensure you don't add too much of chinchin to your oil on fire,fry bit by bit
It saves time when you fry in bit,they get done faster than when you overcrowd it

11. Always allow your chinchin to settle for few seconds same with buns before stirring

12.To achieve a good looking chinchin, if you are frying much chinchin, ensure to filter your oil at intervals.
Pour the oil into another pot,scoop out the flour at the bottom of the frying pan before you continue with the frying.

13. To make your work easier, roll first and cut everything before you start frying

14. Don't use too much of flour on your worktable

15. Remember to pack your chinchin only when it's completely cool

PUFF PUFF RECIPE
Ingredients
Lukewarm water for mixing 1 cup
3 pinch of salt
Half cup of granulated sugar (you can choose to your taste)
Vegetable oil for frying
2 cups of flour ( 250g
Half teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon of yeast ( that particular one used in baking bread

Direction
_ add nutmeg, sugar, yeast, salt and water, mix and keep aside for 5 mins
_add flour and mix
_allow the mixture to rise for 20 - 30 minutes

_ pour vegetable oil in a frying pan and place on low heat
_ when you are sure that the oil is hot enough, then use your hand, spoon or something else to dish up the batter and drop it in the oil
_ fry for some minutes until is golden brown
_ use frying spoon to take it out of the oil
