So it was a great time Anchoring the Theatre Alive Drama Night. I personally had fun watching power and passion mixed in every act that came on stage, the level of creativity and suspense especially in the first play Titled: 'Leaving The 99 In-Search for the 1" was unforeseen and unpredictable. They dribbled everyone off the ground with a stunt that is scarce in the church. Alive Theatre is a force to reckon with, by the way, that was not their Theatre week, yet it was massive and everywhere was filled with guests.

STRANGE CULTURE vs DYING MOTHER TONGUE
Although, I was the fun driver of the event yet I learned a few far-fetch things that blew my mind. It was an International Cultural Day at Harbour Academy the kids were brilliant and polished even by the Queenlike gramma they speak one could think he is already living in London.
Cuddles to the creative and innovative teachers for organizing the kids through so many rehearsals and research as their presentation was expository about the country they represent.
A big shout out to one Uncle Namaste who danced vigorously, making me suspect he was being influenced by too much Zeeworld series🤣.
The teachers delivered an erudite playlet on the Negligence and Consequences of Inter-Ethnic marriages on a Child's Local Language Learning. They argued that ethnic diversity in marriage is gradually affecting the possibility of a child learning his local language. They postulated that parents who are married from different ethnic groups suffer the transfer of language to their children, therefore, downplaying the importance of local dialect which is gradually extinguishing the percentage of children who can speak their local language in Nigeria.
It is believed by the teacher and myself, that the rapid intake, learning, and chase of fluency in the English Language is gradually eradicating and decrementing our Local Languages from the next generation of children. So parents should learn to speak and teach their children how to speak and understand their language at home. Parents who are from different ethnic groups should give their children to Joy of learning both languages as a benefit of inter-ethnic marriages.
I also was privileged to hear about a few strange beliefs and practices which are still invoked today. I discovered as revealed by one of the parents who is from Delta that a certain community from her place, doesn't eat the popular 'Ogbono Soup' because they believe that if you eat Ogbono you won't be able to ascend to meet
Harbour Academy International Cultural Day
Last Saturday 18th March, I MC an interesting, exciting and fun-filled event at Harbour Academy Gwarinpa Abuja.
It was their International Cultural Day where pupils showcased the rich culture of some interesting countries cutting across the continent of the world. Although not all continents were represented but the day was unique. The pupils had fun displaying and educating their parents including the MC on some wonders about their countries of interest.
These countries had some myth and fact that are beautiful, their dances which the children did were intriguingly aesthetics. France 🇫🇷, Ghana 🇬🇭, Mexico 🇲🇽, India 🇮🇳, Australia 🇦🇺 and our own Igala in Nigeria 🇳🇬 were the countries of focus for the day.
Parents loved my beautiful vibes and carriage and they wished we stayed longer.
One of the highlight for me was the intercontinental and African dishes display🤣, (no chop Wetin you no know o). That was my advice when I saw the colour of dishes, and smelled different foods. I saw people diving into food I would never eat even when I considered myself an omnivore🙆🏻♂️.

I must confess, I loved the dishes and had a bellyful lunch there.
The pupils did splendid and I love their choreography.
