Harbour Academy Celebrates SuperHero Dads

Harbour Academy organizes Father’s Day celebration for all her pupils dads with the theme “SuperHero Dads”.

It was truly a interesting event and your MC EveryMan graced the occasion.
The event started with a stressless roadwork and we rested on some board games thereafter a light aerobics by one of the dads.

There were several games as the objective was to get them play like their children, laugh, fall, roll on the ground and reminisce on those days when Obi was still a Boy.

To my greatest surprise the men really came to play proving that it has been stressful being SuperHero Dads, Husbands and Bosses at same time. Their cooperation was top notch, they were all in high spirit and I too enjoyed myself.

Every games was full of laughter and excitement couple with gifts to be won.

The discussion session such as “Do men really cry and how?” You needed to see fathers giving up several techniques and method of crying, some even recounted their latest cry 🤣. We also recollected on the Best Part of being Dads and also on Unbelievable and funniest moments of our wives pregnancies. You ended to hear hilarious experiences as shared 🤣🤣.

One of the highlight was having Coach Bola Yusuf as our guest speaker for the day who spoke profoundly on “Finding a balance between being a Husband, Father and Boss”.
I have always known Dr. Bola Yusuf as a research Lord but this time he came with his heart to have a heart-to-heart talk, yet he couldn’t escape dishing out some deep psychological thesis to justify his representation. (I’ll write on my Israel Ezekiel)

We also had a Dr. Who calls himself nurse spoke scientifically on the issues of Ponstrate cancer and Cardiovascular disease (CVD), Cardiac arrest, causes and prevention as well as a practical session of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children, and Heimlich maneuver. It was an erudite session.

But to crown it all was the plenty of choppings that was over supplied. I must say that I enjoyed the time well spent and Harbour Academy is located at 16, 352 road off 35 road, 3rd Avenue Gwarinpa, Abuja.

So it was a great time Anchoring the Theatre Alive Drama Night. I personally had fun watching power and passion mixed in every act that came on stage, the level of creativity and suspense especially in the first play Titled: 'Leaving The 99 In-Search for the 1" was unforeseen and unpredictable. They dribbled everyone off the ground with a stunt that is scarce in the church. Alive Theatre is a force to reckon with, by the way, that was not their Theatre week, yet it was massive and everywhere was filled with guests.
