Crunchy Buns Recipe

Recipe
500g flour
¼ cup sugar
3 tablespoon margarine
¼ cup powder milk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cup Luke warm water

Procedure

Sieve the flour into a bowl.

Add salt, baking powder, nutmeg and milk powder.

Add the margarine and combine into a crumb.

Now add the water and mix together..just combine lightly,it must not be smooth .

Allow to rest for like 10 minutes.

Heat up your oil and fry till Golden brown.

MY HOMEMADE POPCORN.

RECIPE:
3-4 tbs vegetable oil.
2-3 tbs sugar.
1/2 cup of foreign corn (specialized for popcorn).
Milk.

Preparation:

Heat the oil in the pot on medium heat for about 20seconds.

Quickly put the corn,sprinkle sugar to it then cover the pot and wait for the popping to begin. Shake the pot every 5seconds so that the sugar doesn't burn and all the corns can pop.

Note: It will start popping slowly at first,then later very fast.

When popping reduces,remove from stove but continue to shake the pot till popping stops.

Transfer popcorn into a bowl,sprinkle some more sugar and milk.

Your popcorn is ready,allow to cool then serve.

Now to Get the coloured kind of popcorn just as seen on the screen.

After adding your oil or dissolve butter add 1 tsp of red or green food colour and stair together very well before adding your corn.

HOW TO MAKE MEAT PIE

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE DOUGH
8 cups all-purpose flour
250g Butter
3 Eggs (1 for brushing)
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup (60ml) cold water

FOR THE FILLING:
350g Ground beef
1 Potato, peeled and diced into small cubes
1 Large Onion, chopped
1 Large Carrot, peeled and diced
1 cup (240ml) Water/beef broth
Salt to taste
Pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon Thyme
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons Oil

PREPARATION

MAKING THE DOUGH
In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Add butter and rub it with the flour until you get a crumbly texture.
-Beat 2 eggs and add it to the flour mixture, mix until dough is formed. Cover for 30mins.

MAKING THE FILLING
In a large pan heat oil. Add onion and sauté for 5-6 mins.
Add the ground meat and fry for for 4-5 mins.
Add the diced carrots, season with salt, pepper, thyme and flour.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll out the dough into 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out a round shape with your desired sized.
Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center and fold over the dough using the meat meat-pie cutter or you can fold and use a fork to seal the edge.
Poke the pies with a fork to create a steam outlet.
Brush the pies with beaten egg.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden.
