HOW TO MAKE ZEBRA PRINT FONDANT

1) Start with the white fondant

2) Roll it flat, ensure it is big enough to cover the cake

Note: Roll the fondant on a sheet of waxed paper…very important!
If you don’t use waxed paper, your fondant has a good chance of being connected to your tabletop! It also makes it so much easier to lift, as you will see…

3) Then roll out a piece of black fondant as thin lines,using a paring knife to slice the black fondant into strips.

4) Try to cut the strips in a way that one end is pointed.

5) Then u picked up the strips and placed them onto the white fondant

6) Then continued until the entire circle of white fondant is covered.

7) Then put a sheet of waxed paper on top and roll the two layers together.

8)Use the pastry tools ( rolling pin and scrapper) to smoothen out.

9) To put it on the cake, flip it over using the waxed paper on the top and bottom.

10) Then roll the fondant onto the cake

11) Smoothen it out and trim the edges
