The first time I noticed Damilare was in 2013, we were both attending a tutorial class, he was this annoying boy at the tutorial class who corrected tutors and got all the questions right. He also had this funny accent I thought was American (he actually speaks good English - lol). This guy told the teacher a question didn't have an answer during a physics test, question I had already answered. I remember rolling my eyes in anger. After standing on my neck for so long to be his friend, we somehow got talking and quickly became very good friends. I had to swallow my pride and acknowledged that this guy knows book more than me,lol. He was a tremendous help, I passed physics in my UTME because of him.
We dated for a while through the tutorial days till my second year in the University, the relationship was really great but it had to end because I thought I was too young to date, lol. Though in all my adult years, I told everyone who cared to listen I had my best relationship when I was 16 because, he was truly the best person I had ever had. We stopped talking for a couple of years after we broke up because, what was the point. Fast forward to 2-3 years later, he called to make him laugh, I know he will say otherwise. Then we would communicate once in a while, talked about the things we found in each other that we haven’t found in any other person, reminiscing on our failed relationship while telling each other reasons we couldn’t come back together. In short, we almost swore we would never be coming back.
