I was having a conversation with someone recently and she said Jay u love events and I'm happy you've finally ventured into that as a business,it suits you. She went ahead to say.... I think you've attended about 1000 weddings in your life so far if not more and not to talk of birthday parties and other social ceremonies.
I began blushing 😊🥰.... Should I take that as a compliment or ? Cos she's so right. 😂

Anyways I love social gatherings 😉😉😺

Story time ....

You may ask why do I need an event planner right? So .....
A few years ago, I attended a social event (a wedding party) an elegant lady seated just beside me kept murmuring. I later got curious and politely asked her , pls ma'am is everything alright? She then spilled it that after pulling her resources and time to honour the couple because they gave her a card stating she's a VIP lo and behold here she is seated behind with no special recognition and that made her feel belittled. Hey guys, that particular event obviously had some good money spent on it but the lack of a planner and not just a planner a good one at that made an invited VIP to feel belittled. But trust me 😜 I felt for her cause even her clothing and make-up alone shows she parted with her good cash just to look the part for the couple's big day. I then walked up to the bride's sister and informed her about the woman,she followed me to see if she might know the woman, upon sighting her she knelt down and began to apologize to the woman for not getting her seated where she deserved. You know it's just idle that we give honour to whom it's due. I later found out the woman personally gave the couple some millions for the wedding. But since the couple chose not to use an event planner they ended up making their special guest feel so low.
Pls learn from this story and start engaging 👇👇
