Meat pie.

Ingredients:
For the pastry:

4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
200g cold Butter, cubed
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup (60ml) cold water

For the filling:
β€’3/4 pound (350g) Ground beef
1 Potato, peeled and diced into small cubes
1 Large Onion, chopped
1 Large Carrot, peeled and diced
1 cup (240ml) Water/beef broth
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Thyme
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons Oil
1 egg for brushing

How to prepare:

-Make the pastry: in a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
-Add cubed butter and rub it with the flour until you get a crumbly texture.
-Beat 2 eggs with cold water and add it to the flour mixture, mix until dough is formed. Cover for 30mins.
-Make the filling: in a large pan heat oil. Add onion and sautΓ© for 5-6 mins.
-Add diced carrots and cook for 3-4 mins.
-Add the meat, breaking it apart, for 4-5 mins; Season with salt, pepper, thyme and flour.
-Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll out the dough into 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out a round shape with your desired sized.
-8. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center and fold over the dough. Seal it with your fingers or with a fork. Poke the pies with a fork to create a steam outlet while baking brush the pies with beaten egg.
-Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Ingredients:
-80 grams of melted butter
-400 milliliters of warm milk
-10 grams dry yeast (1 tbsp)

Preparation:

BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients:

200 grams pomade butter (blend at room temperature)
120 grams of sugar
280 grams of wheat flour
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Preparation:

1. In a bowl start by mixing the butter with the sugar. Remember that butter must be at room temperature in order to work well with it. We blend in pretty well.

2. Once mixed, add in the teaspoon of vanilla essence.

3. We continue with the sifted flour. We run the flour through a sinker before putting it into the bowl. We blend in pretty well.

4. Now it's time to shape them up. The easiest thing is to make a roll as you see below with the help of paper film and put it in the fridge for 1 hour or so. From there on, we'll be "cutting slices" of more or less 1 cm and baking them.

5. Put them in a cut oven tray and bake them at 180Β° for about 11-12 minutes. The moment we see the edges starting to gold we take them out. If you see that they are soft don't leave them anymore because I once made that mistake, when they cool they harden. So don't worry if you touch one and see it soft

Simple Honey butter roll recipe
Recipe
Milk - 1 cup (250ml)
Yeast - 1 tablespoon
Honey - 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoon
Melted butter - 76g
Egg - 1 (medium)
Salt - pinch of salt
Flour - 500g

Procedure
1: In a clean bowl, add in your milk and yeast allow it to rest for 2 minutes
2: Then, add in your honey, melted butter and egg. Mix all together
3: Add in your flour and salt, mix together and knead till smooth and elastic
4: cut into small sizes and shape it as you desire
5: put in your baking tray/baking pan
6: Allow it to proof for 40 minutes
7: Egg wash with egg yolk
8: Bake on a medium heat for 15-20 minutes

Chin chin Recipe
Ingredients:
-3 cups flour (375 grams)
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-Pinch of nutmeg
-1/2 cup sugar (100 grams)
1/2 cup baking margarine (115 grams)
-1/2 to 2/3 cup liquid milk or water
-1 egg (optional. use if you want soft chinchin)
-Oil for frying.

Direction:
-Combine flour, baking powder and sugar in a bowl. Slice in margarine and mix until well incorporated.
-Crack in egg. Mix
gently, add water into flour mix until you have a slightly stretchy but not sticky dough.
-Roll out the dough on a flat surface, cut into desired shapes.
-Set the oil on medium heat, wait until the oil is hot.
-Fry the shaped dough a batch at a time until golden brown.

NGREDIENTS
For the pastry:

DIRECTIONS

2. Beat 2 eggs with cold water and add it to the flour mixture, mix until dough is formed. Do not over mix! Wrap the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3. Make the filling: in a large pan heat oil. Add onion and sautΓ© for 5-6 minutes, until translucent. Add diced carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the meat and cook, breaking it apart, for 4-5 minutes, until no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, thyme and flour. stir and cook for 2 minutes more.

4. Add in cubed potatoes stir well. Pour in the water/broth. Stir.

5. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, until thickens. Set aside to cool.

6. Preheat oven to 350F (175C).

7. Divide the dough into 2-4 pieces (you also can roll the whole dough, dividing it just making it easier to work). Roll out the dough into 1/8-inch (1/4 cm) thickness. Cut out a round shape with your desired sized. Combine all the leftover dough and roll it again to make more circles.

8. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center, brush the edges with water and fold over the dough. Seal it with your fingers or with a fork. Poke the pies with a fork to create a steam outlet while baking brush the pies with beaten egg.

9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden. Cool slightly before serving

Fish roll.

Ingredients
For the dough
-500 Grams Flour
-1/2 teaspoon Salt
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1 teaspoon Nutmeg (optional)
-2 tablespoon Sugar
-200 Grams Margarine or butter or 50/50
-2 eggs
-100 ml evaporated milk or fresh or water
-Vegetable oil for frying

For the filling:
-2-3 TablespoonVegetable oil
-1 small Onions
-1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
-1/2 teaspoon Oregano
-1/2 Teaspoon eachCurry & Thyme
-Salt to taste
-2-3 medium-size Fried Mackerel
-1 Can Sardine in Tomato sauce

How to prepare:

-Mix all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl (flour, margarine/ butter, nutmeg, salt and sugar). You should either use a stand mixer, spatula or whisk if you don’t want to use your hands but nevertheless hand does the job better.
-Add the milk to the dry ingredients, then add the water bit by bit until the dough is properly formed. The reason I suggest bit by bit is because the consistency of our margarine or butter may differ, so add according to the texture of your dough and stop when the right consistency has been achieved.
-Remove the dough from the bowl and drop it on a floured surface and knead until smooth but don’t over knead the dough.
-Drop it back in the bowl and cover with a neat kitchen towel or clingy film or foil and allow to rest for about 30-40 minutes at room temperature.
-Take it out and drop it on the rolling mat or a floured clean surface, divide it and start rolling out with a rolling pin.
-Add about 1 teaspoon of the filling and roll.
-Repeat the process until you roll out all the dough.-Set your heat gauge to 180 degrees and bake for 20-30 minutes.

Note : you can also fry until it is golden brown.
-Enjoy and serve! Enjoy with any drink of your choice, water, coffee, etc.
