🎊Three years ago, Don Jazzy saw an 18-year-old girl in the streets of Nigeria who had so much talent but no sponsor or money. He decided to make a star out of her by signing her to his record label, Marvin's. After months of training, on this very day, they decided to introduce her to the music industry with her EP titled "Ayra Starr." At this point in the story, we can just say the 'rest was history' because this 18-year-old girl has now grown to be one of the most talented and famous African female stars of this generation.
At just 21 years of age, Ayra Starr has won several awards, toured around the world, headlining shows, and earning millions of dollars for her company through her voice and unique sound.
She has a Grammy Award nomination, has accumulated more than 2.5 billion streams across all streaming platforms, and has all it takes to win it all.
Today, we celebrate a talent we feel Africa is blessed to have.
