Yesterday , I paid a visit to Mama cake herself Kelechi Attah Ezugwu , the CEO .

Initially , I thought that cake is women things but I changed my mind after she bombarded me with cake yesterday. Cake is now officially for everyone. The thing is too yummy.

Do you know the sweetest part of it , I was bringing them down with a chilled Heineken beer ( mortuary standard ). Enjoyment di uso jianyi.

While going , she still gave me this small chops and cake in the pictures as takeaway oo. Na me and my mama enjoy am for house sha.
My sit at home Monday was made.

Abeg , once in a while , order cake from her and enjoy yourself. Problem no dey ever finish.

YOU AND DRUGS

Have you ever gone to a health facility and they remove the drug label before giving them to you. Some will conclude that they don't want you to know the name of the drugs being issued .

The truth is that it's your right to know the drugs being issued so you will be able to note the ones you react to and so on. But actually , they remove the label because of the way we abuse drugs in this part of the world. Haven't you seen how some people store empty drug packs . Any little issue , they will just bring it out and buy the exact drug without even consulting a specialist. Do you even know the indications for the drugs.

The way we abuse antibiotics here is alarming. Every little thing , you will hear give me Cipro , give me amoxil . The village women differentiate them with the colours. Give me ishi black and red , ishi black and purple and so on.
For the rich , they abuse Augmentin. This will just lead your system to be resistant to such drugs . That's why sometimes , you will be taking antibiotics without a corresponding response to them. You take drugs without noticing an improvement.

I know somebody that takes 4 tablets (2g ) of paracetamol once. Some reasons we take paracetamol can be handled with rest , sleep and bath .

Do you know that drugs are poison in disguise?
Here , if you send somebody for a laboratory investigation , he will conclude that you don't know what you are doing.

OSEBRUWA ACHIGBUOLA HA N' OCHI 🤣

It is now a culture to embezzle public funds. I had to put it this way because there is an Igbo adage that says that ihe ojo gbara Afor ,o buru omenala. Our own ihe ojo is more than a year.

Lately , what makes the news is how our politicians donate millions of naira in cash to flood victims. The big question remains " why didn't they do the needful to prevent the flood".

The answer to the above question is that they prefer burying money in underground tanks to burying money in people. Instead of investing in humanity , they prefer to invest in underground tanks.

Since the central bank pronounced their plan to redesign our currency , otune b' eshifur' all of them. Law of karma is in practical action. Imagine that one Enugu senator is currently incapacitated that he can't even access his own underground tanks. That means the money will waste oo. HAD IT BEEN HE INVESTED IN HIS PEOPLE INSTEAD OF BURYING THEM.

OSEBRUWA ACHIGBUOLA HA N'OCHI 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭. This is a phrase in stations of the Cross.

GOVERNOR'S AID FULFILLS PROMISE

Earlier today being 26th October,2022, Hon Chidi Concord , Aid to the Executive Governor of Enugu state Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi fulfiled his promise of construction and supply of school seats to Unity primary school, Olido, Igbo Eze North LGA of Enugu State to ameliorate the adverse condition of the pupils in the classrooms.

Recall that the promise was made recently after a detailed interaction with the school's headmistress Mrs Onoyima Maria . She narrated the challenges the school is facing with regards to infrastructure and other equipments which includes lack of desk for the pupils in the nursery and primary section and dilapidated school structure.

Hon Concord upon hearing the concerns raised by the school headmistress gave his support by approving the supplies of desks for the pupils and to the glory of God , it was fulfilled today. He also promised to convey to the appropriate authorities about the dilapidated condition of the school building which immediate construction of the school block has been Approved by the Executive Governor of Enugu State Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (CON) through Enugu state Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) under the Chairmanship of Chief Ikeje Asogwa.

The school headmistress on behalf of the joyous teachers and pupils confirmed the donations of school seats and more approval of school uniforms and materials by the donor. She prayed for more blessings on the donor as he came on his own to offer a helping hand. She also appreciated His Excellency the Executive Governor of Enugu State on such a timely intervention.

On the other hand, the PDP youth leader of Umuitodo Ward 3 who also doubles as the PTA chairman , Mr Ugwu Jonathan Who was there to receive the seats also commended the donor as he described him as Ome nke afuru Anya. He also offered his prayer for him.

The PG of Olido Autonomous Community Mr Eze Jerome ably represented by Dr Eze Kingsley also appreciated the donor as he confirmed that he has always intervened in time of need to his people.

This is not his first time of doing this charitable support as he has done a similar thing at Community Primary School Olido sometime ago where He gave scholarship to brilliant pupils, bought uniforms and school materials for the vulnerable pupils and also provided numerous seats.

A Pleasant Afternoon UmuChineke:

We are delighted to make public, the paragraph of the Court of Appeal Holding in their Judgement, which buried the frivolous criminal charge against Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and totally prohibited the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) from coming up with any criminal charge or indictment against Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This Holding is more fortifying and sacrosanct. It is the last straw that broke the camel’s back, a boil in the sc***um and can never be circumvented. There is no escape route for the oppressors here!

Please, carefully read the erudite Holding on the Lead judgement allowing Onyendu’s appeal, as reproduced herein, and possibly, infer layman interpretation for proper understanding of the judgement:

“… _the consequence of this section, I hold, is that the Appellant is prohibited from being detained, tried, or otherwise dealt with in Nigeria for or in respect of any offence allegedly committed by him before his extraordinary rendition to Nigeria. The Lower Court has no jurisdiction, I further hold, to try the Appellant on counts 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5, 8 and 15 which were retained by it, being charges allegedly committed by the Appellant prior to his extraordinary rendition._

_In addition, by the forcible abduction and extraordinary rendition of the Appellant from Kenya to this country on the 27th day of June 2021, in violation of international and state laws, the Lower Court and indeed any Court in this country is divested of jurisdiction to entertain charges against the Appellant and I so hold.”_

SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH'S PERSONAL ASSISTANT; MR. GOODNEWS MATHIAS BURIED IN IKA LGA, AKWA IBOM.

Today being Saturday; October 8, 2022, the late Personal Assistant to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah; Mr. Goodnews Mathias was buried in his hometown in Ikot esedan Ika LGA, Akwa Ibom State.

The funeral was attended by a high profile delegation which includes; The State Chairman of the Young Progressives Party (YPP); Mr Nyeneime Andy, Mr. Chijioke Ugochukwu; MD, The Choice Mall, Chief Edwin Igbokwe Party Executives and Igbo Community in Akwa Ibom.

Before his untimely demise during the attack on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's convoy, Mr. Goodnews Mathias was Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's Personal Assistant.

Undoubtedly, his departure is a sad loss, not only for his immediate family, but for us all. We pray the good lord to grant us the strength and fortitude to bear this loss.

SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH ATTENDS THE FUNERAL CEREMONY OF HIS LATE REGIONAL MANAGER; MR IKECHUKWU ODUM IN MBAUKWU, AWKA SOUTH LGA, ANAMBRA STATE.

Today being Saturday; October 8, 2022, I attended the funeral of my late Regional Manager; Mr Odum Ikechukwu at Mbaukwu, Awka South LGA, Anambra State.

Until his demise, the late Odum Ikechukwu was a person everyone wanted to reckon with. Remarkably endearing inside-out, a bundle of inspiration to all around him; a kind soul and wise counsel whose good deeds are inexpressible in words. Unfortunately, death snatched him from us helplessly.
He was a truly magnificent man whose humility, openness and guidance will be cherished forever.

To date, I am still shocked, saddened and traumatized by the gruesomeness that took him from us. So many times, I have tried to make sense of this and tried to understand the reason why this happened but unfortunately, there are no easy answers, and as difficult and painful as it is, we must accept that this is the will of God.

Undoubtedly, his demise has left a void in my heart as he was not just my Regional manager but a brother, a strong pillar of support and confidant who was always there for me every single moment that he was called upon.
However, while l mourn today, I have also taken comfort in the fact that he lived a productive and impact-filled life worthy of emulation.

I want to specially thank my friends that attended the funeral; Senator Uche Ekwunife, Senator Victor Umeh, Hon Uche Okafor (Wiper), Prof. Umenweke, Chief Vin. Onyeka, Ugodan, Emeka B.B, Chief Edwin Igbokwe, Hon. Juliet Chukwunonye Anaeme (Ada Ozubulu) and other notable personalities too numerous to mention.

May God grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

Accident: Tanker Driver Averts Death Of Many In Awka

The saving hands of God was at work today at the popular Arroma Junction, Awka, as a tanker driver averted scores of death and injuries by diverting his vehicle to the pavement of Arroma flyover where it fell side ways.

No life was lost, as only the driver and conductor sustained minor injuries.

When a crew from Anambra Broadcasting Service, arrived the scene of the incident, it was gathered that the vehicle with the registration number 'UKP771XA' was conveying a soap oil from Amansea to Onitsha, before the incident took place.

Speaking to journalists, the tanker driver, Mr. Kevin Ogu from Imo State, who thanked God that no life was lost, blamed a driver of a fully loaded bus for stoping in front of him after the traffic regulator from Anambra State Traffic Management Agency had given them signal to move.

He said that after he quickly tried several attempts to stop his vehicle, his brake failed him, adding that instead of diverting the tanker at the busy park at the junction which could cause much death, he moved it to the pavement of the flyover.

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has switched on the streetlights on the Second Niger Bridge to test the illumination.

According to Babatunde Fashola, minister of works and housing, the bridge, which is in its final stage of construction, will be inaugurated in December 2022 and opened to vehicular movement.

The Second Niger Bridge is a federal government project that is being managed by the federal ministry of works and housing in collaboration with the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).

Construction on the bridge commenced on September 1, 2018.

The bridge, which is being constructed across the Niger river, will span from Asaba in Delta state to Ozubulu and Ogbaru areas in Anambra state.

I personally commend the administration of president Muhammadu Buhari for this legacy project in the southeast It's well appreciated sir.

NDLEA arrests another billionaire drug baron in VGC Lagos
...Recovers N8.8 worth of tramadol from mansion in residential estate

No less than Thirteen Million, Four Hundred and Fifty One Thousand, Four Hundred and Sixty Six (13,451,466) pills of Tramadol 225mg worth Eight Billion Eight Hundred and Sixty Million Naira (N8,860,000,000) in street value have been recovered by operatives of the National Drug Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, from one of the mansions of a billionaire drug baron, Ugochukwu Nsofor Chukwukadibia, in the highbrow residential estate, Victoria Garden City, Lekki area of Lagos.

The arrest of Ugochukwu who is the Chairman of Autonation Motors Ltd is coming barely two months after NDLEA uncovered a methamphetamine clandestine laboratory in the residence of another drug kingpin in the estate, Chris Emeka Nzewi, who was arrested on Saturday 30th July along with a chemist, Sunday Ukah, who cooked the illicit drug for him. At least, 258.74 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and various precursor chemicals used for the production of the toxic drug were recovered from Nzewis home during his arrest.

Following credible intelligence, NDLEA operatives on Friday 30th September stormed the Plot A45 Road 2 home of the 52-year-old billionaire drug kingpin. A search of the expansive mansion led to the discovery of 443 cartons of Tramadol Hydrochloride 225mg, which contains 13, 451, 466 pills of the drug while some cartons were already burnt in a fire incident in the house same day.

Before his arrest, Ugochukwu who hails from Ihiala local government area of Anambra state has been on the Agencys watch list as one of those behind the tramadol drug cartel in Nigeria. Preliminary investigation shows that he has about six mansions within the VGC, one of which he uses to warehouse the tramadol consignment, while he lives in the one at Plot Z-130 Road 67 and another as his office. Five exotic vehicles have also been located in two of his mansions, out of which two SUVs including a bullet jeep have been successfully removed to the Agencys facility.

Reacting to the latest drug haul, Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Mohamed Buba Marwa, I'll like to reassure Nigerians and other stakeholders wherever they are located across the country and beyond of our preparedness to work with them on this onerous task of saving our people from the drug scourge. This partnership is a further warning to the drug barons and cartels that there is no hiding place for them anymore, because we remain on their trail and well always get them.

Yet, people in our churches are praying for jobs when they know that God does not give job.

They pray for admission into schools, when it is obvious that God does not give admission.

They turn church ministers into their gods because those ministers give them what their sensible government ought to have provided for them which is their rights.

They even wear wedding gowns to church claiming husbands by faith, yet they know very well that in Africa, most men won't think of getting married unless they have jobs or something sustaining.

How many of those single ladies that wore wedding gowns to church will marry a jobless man?

How many young men who are at their marriageable age have jobs?

Can't you see how interconnected to politics everything is?

Have you not seen ministers prophesying about getting a visa to travel out? If the country is working, won't you laugh at such prophecy?

Why can't we see that a lot of the problems that we think are spiritual are products of bad government and politics?

So, what exactly should I preach? That Jesus will come down and tell you that Atiku supports the killers of Deborah or that Tinubu is sick and unfit and should be resting with his grand children and not cycling to prove nothing?

We thank God for the wisdom of the Church.

Fr Amadi was asked to help out in Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria from now till January 2nd 2023 when Fr Mbaka will be returning from the monastery in Edo State. Another way of putting it is to say relief duty. After January 2nd Fr Mbaka will come back and continue his activities in Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria.

But many people have changed the narrative saying the bishop has replaced him, some said that he has been transferred. Yes the bishop can transfer his priest. But in this case was Fr Mbaka transferred the answer is NO. He was asked to go to the monastery in Edo State for prayers while Fr Amadi will be relieving him in the interim till January 2nd 2023.

Let good counsel prevail. The social media doesn't transfer priests. But the bishop does and it is always documented. Those peddling lies can you show us the transfer letter?

Let God take over the situation. Priests do go for retreat and vacation and other priests come to relieve them and that doesn't entail transfer. That Fr Mbaka was asked to go to the monastery is not a crime nor that he was transferred.

For those of you clapping that he has been sent to the monastery, let me ask you what is wrong in praying in the monastery? What is wrong in quietude with God? Are monks not human beings? What is wrong in being alone with none but thee my God in the monastery?

Fr Mbaka will only go to the Monastery and come back with the contemplative dimensions of the prophets Elijah and Elisha. That means he will become contemplative in action. And he will now be flying with the wings of contemplation and active acts of the Holy Spirit in double measures.

All these happening are pointing towards his sainthood in the future. A saint is about to be birth in Enugu Diocese.

These things are happening so that Church historians will have facts to defend his sainthood case tomorrow. And I will be the first to champion his case for canonisation. Mark my words everything that is happening is happening for good. You will remember this statement some day some time in the future.

Fr. MBAKA:
The true position.
3 October, 2022

Going by an interview with the Director of Communications, Enugu Diocese, Rev. Fr. Ben Achi, Very Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka was not removed from the Adoration Ministry, as many reports are suggesting.

Rather, according to Fr. Achi, since it was recommended that Fr. Mbaka takes time away in solitude, in order to listen to what the Spirit of God has to tell him, he was allowed to propose a priest to administer, in the interim, to the faithful at the Adoration Ministry.

With the approval of his Bishop, on Sunday, 2 October 2022, Fr. Mbaka introduced Fr. Anthony Amadi to the worshippers.

Unfortunately, some people were still not pleased, and would prefer that Fr. Mbaka remains.

What every true Christian, and especially every true Catholic, should do at this moment is to commit our dear brother and priest, Fr. Mbaka, to God in prayer so that he may, through this moment, encounter God specially, come out stronger and better in recognizing His will for him and gain more graces to channel those rare gifts for His glory and for the sanctification of the people of God and society at large.
