Dear Youth,
Today let's talk about "Placing value on things that matter"
I was taught that as much as riches and all that go with it are a necessity, core values should be a priority and a compass in this journey of life!
I was thought about some of the most important values of life viz; honesty, integrity, hardwork, contentment, gratitude!
I was taught to say my morning prayers on waking up, make my bed, do my chores, greet and respect my elders whenever i run into them, check on my friends and family, etc etc.
Now the interesting thing about life is that whatever behaviour you grow up with has a way of sticking with you like your skin!
As a person, what are your core values?
Even if you didn't get the opportunity of being raised up in a good environment, what are you doing to be a better person than you are?
What values are you passing on the younger generation?
What legacies are you building that you will be remembered for?
When you see life from a perspective of "live and let live....", it helps you to be a better person!
When last did u check on your childhood friends, family, classmates, relatives, even parents!
How often do u reach out to people that are less privileged than you are? (if you are in a position to)
How often do you have a self check on your core values?
As often as you can, try to.......e get why!

Peter Fregene, otherwise known as Flying cat back in the 70s, he is dying in abject poverty. Fregene was the first choice goalkeeper for the Nigeria national football team from 1968 to 1971, before being recalled for the 1982 African Cup of Nations finals. He also represented Nigeria at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City

Brazil has just buried football legend Pelé. African footballer brothers joined hands with the world in paying tributes and celebrating Pele’s life, and rightly so.

We just wish that African footballers could extend the same comradeship and solidarity to their fellow African former footballer

Today let's talk about "Keeping the right attitude in life".
I took off time these past two weeks to let us have the yuletide and new year celebrations.
I have missed you all here, and I hope you guys missed me too? 😁
As we enter this new year, I want us to reflect on the kind of life we led in previous years especially the past year, assess ourselves and set us in the right direction for 2023 and beyond.
Whatever life has blessed you with, keep the right attitude towards people and life generally!!
We have seen people rise and fall
We have seen the rich become poor, and we have seen the poor become rich and wealthy!
We have seen the last come 1st, and the 1st come last!!!
We have seen powerful people become powerless, and vice versa!
Be humble!!!
Be nice!!!
Be kind to people!!
Treat people with regards and the right attitude, always.
Do not talk down on people, do not look down on people.
NOTHING lasts forever!
