Onunu is a tasty mouthwatering delicacy from Rivers State in the south-south part of Nigeria. It’s the traditional meal of the Ijaw/ Kalabari/ Degema/ Opobo people of Rivers State & Awarra/ ASA in Imo state. Ruddy's Vegetable soup was a bang 😋 I made this soup for Sunday lunch 😋 for my family when I find out that what was supposed to be for lunch was still frozen. You can try it and let me know. I used 2 types of Vegetable Green leaf(blanched) Spinach Crafish (plenty) Stockfish head Goatmeat Pomo Snails Fresh pepper Black pepper Sombo Onion plenty ( blended ) Palm oil Seasonings Salt to taste Method Start by boiling Stockfish head Goatmeat pomo,snails together Blend pepper,sombo,onions together and pour into the pot. Cook together until everything is soft and ready. Add blended Crafish and continue cooking. Add the palm oil still to combine. Blanching process boiling water add salt and pour into the already washed and cut green Vegetable,refresh with cold water and set aside to drain. Check and correct the Seasonings. Add the already washed and cut Spinach and still,taste and see if the Seasonings is good or you add,I added black pepper when it seems like I needed to add pepper.
