Before you condemn Ohafia's ancestors or call them evil for engaging in many battles, beheading their enemies, and using them as souvenirs to prove bravery, remember that in ancient times, (1) the world was Jungle. You either Fight and dominate or Hide and Evaporate. (2)Fighting was an occupation then(3)You have to fight to protect your religion and beliefs or else another tribe/ clan will force their religion and beliefs on you. (4) You have to fight to protect your Land or else another Tribe/Clan will either take you captive or take your land from you. (5) You have to fight to keep slave hunters off your Land. (6) You have to fight to retrieve whatever your enemies have taken from you. (7) You have to fight to have the authority to influence others. (8) It was survival of the fittest and a struggle for existence. (9)It was fight, win, and rule.

So instead of Hiding and Evaporating, the Ohafia's ancestors chose to fight and dominate. They chose to fight to protect their Lives, Land, Wives, and Children. They also make Fight their Occupation. They became Mighty, Fearless, and successful Warriors. They became known for their war prowess. Other Clans/Tribes became afraid of them. Slave hunters avoided Ohafia Communities.
However, their war prowess did not stop them from being good people. Ohafia people are good people. They are hospitable, generous, friendly, and kind. They receive and treat guests/strangers warmly and generously. They try to be at peace with all sorts of people but if you dare their war prowess, they will teach you what fire can do with a rat ear. thus the say " MBA NI BURA ANYI OKPIRIKPI ANYI A EBURA WŌŌ ŪKŌM EKEGI OKU.

At a wedding ceremony the pastor asked if there was anyone who had any reason why the marriage shouldn't go on; it was time to stand up and speak, or forever let them hold their peace.

The moment of utter silence was interrupted by a young beautiful woman carrying a child. She started slowly walking toward the pastor.
Everything quickly turned to chaos. The bride slapped the groom.

The groom's mother fainted. The bridal trail scooted towards the door.The groom's men huddled together like a bereaved flock, wondering how best to help save the situation.
The pastor asked the woman, "Can you tell us why you came forward? What do you have to say?"

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has suspended the Central Bank Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, CFR, from office with immediate effect.

The Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey disclosed this in a statement on Friday night.

He explained that the suspension of the CBN governor was based on an ongoing investigation as well as planned reforms in the financial sector.

Bassey added that Emefiele has been directed to immediately hand over the affairs of his office to the Deputy Governor (Operations Directorate) pending the conclusion of the investigation and the reforms.

The statement partly read, “President Bola Tinubu has suspended the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, from office with immediate effect.

“This is sequel to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the economy.

“Emefiele has been directed to immediately hand over the affairs of his office to the Deputy Governor (Operations Directorate), who will act as the Central Bank Governor pending the conclusion of the investigation and the reforms.”
