Nigerian Striker, Victor Osimhen has been Banned From Playing for Nigeria Super Eagles

The Nigeria Football Federation has reportedly banned Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen and declared its intention to use the Osimhen case as a deterrent to prevent other players from publicly criticising or disparaging national football heroes and legends.

According to the source, "He (Victor Osimhen) crossed the line with his outburst even when Finidi called him to explain he still didn't deem it fit to retract his statements. We won't condone that and after the Salah break, we will sit on the issue. I can tell you he won't be in the team until he says sorry for his actions" he concluded.

I remember some time ago I gave someone 250k for school and hostel fees as requested. I got to the village 2 weeks later and met her mom in a traditional marriage ceremony and she told me that her daughter was still at home.

I asked why. She said her daughter told her the money I sent to her wasn’t enough for school and hostel. I asked to see her.

Fortunately she was also at the venue.

When she was brought to me, I asked her “did you not request 250k and I gave you?”

She said yes.

Then I asked: “What is the meaning of the money not being enough as stated by your mom?"

She said she transferred 15k from the money to her pastor.

In shock, the onugbu soup companion I had arranged to send down my throat fell down.

In anger, I said: “And you expect your mother, a poor widow, to go steal 15k from where for you?”

She went mute.

I looked at her mother. Her mother was looking at her with her mouth wide open. “Jesinta nnwa m, isi i nyere onye gini?” (Jesinta, my daughter, you said you gave the money to whom?"

To prevent katakata to start right from there, I told her mom to take her away so I could peacefully enjoy my onugbu soup.

Please, always remember men like Abel Damina in your prayers. He’s actually doing The Lord’s work and we are living in a dangerous time.
