“BEWARE OF SECULAR MUSIC, SOME OF THIER SONGS AND DANCING STEPS ARE VERY DEMONIC” – EVANG. MIKE BAMILOYE WARNS.

IMG 20230724 205424
Evang. Mike Bamiloye of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries has shared his opinion from a Christain perspective on secular music few days after his second son, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye’s tweet that set the internet on f!re.

GFNG had earlier reported that Joshua Mike-Bamiloye took to his twitter space to call out Christians who attend concerts and shows organized by secular artists.

According to Joshua Mike-Bamiloye, a geniue Christian who is discerning and filled with the Holy Ghost will distance will set boundaries and will never engage in any activity relating to secular artists.

Few days after, Evang. Mike Bamiloye also took to his official page to warn Christians who listen to secular songs and soak themselves into the dancing steps that comes with it.

In a lengthy post shared few hours ago, the filmmaker noted that many of the secular songs does not glorify God and some of their sources are demonic.

He revealed that some of the dancing steps that comes with those songs are also demoic and are introduced in exchange for wealth and fame.

He added that some of the lyrics of the songs are incantations and spells, strong enough to cause listeners to misbehave.

He finally urge Christain to be careful of the songs and the dancing steps they bring into the church of God.

In his words;

“BEWARE OF THE MUSIC

Beware of rhe Music you listen to. And be careful of the Music you dance to.

When you listen to Secular Music that does not glorify God, you are opening your heart to the Music that glorified the devil and you are opening the door of your heart to Demonic Ministrations.

Many Secular Music has hidden Source.

The Source of some Musics are very demonic. Some secular Music have their Source from Demons.

Some Dance steps were originated and created by Demonic spirit beings and introdyced to the world by Selected Music Artistes in exchange for hige riches and wealth.

Some musical lyrics are INCANTATIONS AND SPELLS upon the hearers and fans, causing them to misbehave whenever they hear and sing it.

Some music artistes brings their Music and percussions from the spirit beings from the depth of the Sea.

Some Music Artistes are taught and coached songs and steps in their dreams by their demonic partners.

Some artistes got on stage and become something else, another spirit taking them up.

Another spirit talking and singing through their mouths.

Fans dancing and going crazy and wild!

This is why we must be careful the type of secular songs and dance steps we introduce into the church for our praises and worship.”

‘GENUINE CHRISTIANS SHOULD AVOID SHOWS BY WIZKID, DAVIDO, BURNA BOY AND OTHERS’ – JOSHUA MIKE-BAMILOYE
Joshua Mike-Bamiloye, the son of Evang. Mike Bamiloye of Mount Zion Faith Ministries has once again cautioned ‘genuine’ Christians who attend shows/concerts organized by secular artists.

According to Joshua Mike-Bamiloye, any show or concert organized by any secular artists should at all cost be avoided by Christian who are genuine and are guided by the Holy Spirit.

To make his post clearer enough to comprehend, he listed some secular artists whose show Christians should flee from, the list include Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and others.

Joshua further stated that many people would disagree with his viewpoint, but only those who are led by the Holy Spirit are able to set boundaries.

In his words;

“Honestly, If you consider yourself a genuine Christian, it’s not appropriate to participate in shows or concerts by secular artists like Davido, Wizkid, Rema etc

Some might argue against this view, but those who are guided by the Holy Spirit understand where to set boundaries.”

As expected, many of his followers took to the reply section to support his notion while some who were not pleased with his tweet gave counter responses.

See some responses below;

; Music has a way of connecting to soul, Iast week, I happened to listen to some music due to my job and after few minutes I find myself echoing the song after leaving the scene. The question is does the music edifies my spirit? No. Does the music helps my focus on God? No

; I back this up with Bible reference. Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Also read, Colossians 3:16.

; Actually when you know who you represent as a Christian, you will separate yourself from every appearance of evil even when it is beautifully coated.

; There is a certain level you attain with your walk with God that influences everything about you; Your music taste, your communication the activities you indulge in etc.

It’s not having a holier-than-thou attitude or the similitude of perfection. It is yielding to God completely. There are many things the bible is silent about & it is left for us to use our discretion.

However, when you are broken, spiritually alert and of a contrite spirit, certain things won’t appeal to you. You are not being judgmental; You are just completely surrendering to God and his will.

; The clause is “ife you are a genuine Christian” which is clear indicator that you’re directed by the spirit of God……. definitely there’s a boundaries to dos and don’t…. simple.

; Clearly the absence of the Holy Spirit is the reason those believers go for such show “unbelieving believers” “having the form of Godliness but denying the power thereof” Ephesians 1:17-19 is my prayers for them till all about them becomes Christ.

; As long as the song is not sexually explicit then it’s fine. In the Bible music was used by even David for therapeutic purposes. We are allowed to also sing about how we feel.

; Johnny Drille, Chike, Timi Dakolo that sings love songs nkor?

; I listen to these folks when necessary. The Songs of Solomon is part of the Scriptures…

; Timi Dakolo sang “We Believe in Nigeria,” and we all embraced it because we know what that song means to us. Johnny did

“How are you, my friend.” and it is widely accepted because we know what it means to us and our friends. Everything song mustn’t be “Spirit Take Over.”

Honestly, If you consider yourself a genuine Christian, it’s not appropriate to participate in shows or concerts by secular artists like Davido, Wizkid, Rema etc
Some might argue against this view, but the truth must be said. There's no relationship between light and darkness.

MUSIC TIPS
How to Pick the Perfect Song to Fit Your Voice: 5 Tips

In these heady days of universal musical access, singers can choose from a dizzying range of musical styles to sing. Singing in different genres can increase your vocal abilities and opportunities, but how do you know which styles best suit your own voice?

It can take some time to figure out what songs will sound and feel really good with your own natural voice. If you keep in mind the five tips below, your voice will stay healthy while you’re learning and growing in your identity as a singer.

1. The Shower Test
What do you love to sing in the shower? Those are the songs we love the best! Choose songs that rouse your passions. No instrument responds so well to our emotions and mental images as that intimate musical part of our body: the human voice.

Yet emotion and personal connection will only take you so far. As always, be fearless in face of the truth: record yourself, and compare what you hear to what you were hearing in your head and to the original artist. Carefully assess what steps you can take to make your musical vision a reality.

Singing in the shower
2. Home on the Range
Even if you don’t know your own vocal range (a.k.a. tessitura), you can follow these steps to find songs that fit:

Gender Identity: Generally (there are exceptions) females sing higher than males. Start with songs that are sung by the same gender as you.
Looking High and Low: Do they sing high or low? Does the melody have a large or small range of notes? These factors may reflect the musical style, individual singer, or both.
Karaoke Time: Grab the lyrics and sing along. Don’t worry about being perfect: you are listening for whether the notes are too high, too low, or just right. If you can sing most of the notes except for either a few highs or a few lows, a simple change of key (transposition) can bring it into perfect range.

3. Style and Comfort
When you try out songs from different genres, and/or different styles within those genres, you will notice that certain songs are more comfortable right off the bat. When you record yourself, see if it sounds right to you. Examine the style of that song: that’s the style that fits best with your natural voice.

Let’s say you were naturally good at swimming, but wanted to compete in a triathlon. First you would build your swimming strength and then branch out to the running and bicycle training. So when you start building your voice in a style that naturally fits, you will develop techniques that you can then apply to other genres.

4. Take it Easy
Would you choose a marathon for your very first race? No matter how much you love them, some songs are too difficult when you’re starting out. So start out easy and work up from there.

Warning: it’s not always easy to know if it’s easy! When assessing the difficulty of a song, keep these guidelines in mind:

Slower does not equal easier. Slow music requires more stamina and breath support. It’s also easier to lose your place in the rhythm. Try picking songs that are not too fast or too slow, and that mix slow and fast phrases.
Don’t worry if it’s mostly too high or mostly too low. If the notes in the song stay within a narrow range, you may be able to sing it at the edges of your range, or transpose it easily to a more comfortable key.
Do a little break dance. How does the melody, and the lyrics fall around your break(s)? Even if the song is in your range, your break can aid or hinder how you can sing the particular syllables on particular notes.
Don’t give up on first listen. Songs always sound harder the first time you hear them. When you listen a few times, you’ll begin to understand what’s involved and it may not be as difficult as you first thought.

5. Ask Why
Why are you wanting to learn this song? Is it that you love the artist? Her voice, her look, her personality? How about the lyrics or the mood? Maybe you’re floored by the vocal virtuosity and wish you could sing like that? Could it be the music itself? The soaring melody or the rhythmic drive that stirs your inner energy?

When you’ve teased out your true motivations, you’ll understand more about what you really want out of this learning experience, and be more clear about your choice of songs.

The Perfect Fit!
All the ins and outs of singing can take some time to learn. By choosing the right songs for your voice, you will be able to focus more attention on building your technique, strength and stamina without harming your voice. Since you’ll be more comfortable along the way, you’ll also have more fun.

So press that record button! Let your emotions guide you as you find your own style, and your “home on the range.” Take the easy road at first, and figure out why you really want to sing. Once you have taken these steps, you’ll find the songs that best express the natural treasures within you!

Winans has been awarded 15 Grammy Awards, the most for a female gospel singer; and 31 GMA Dove Awards, 16 Stellar Awards, 7 NAACP Image Awards, along with many other awards and honors to her credit. Winans is considered to be one of the greatest gospel artists of all time, the most-awarded gospel artist of all time, and is the best-selling gospel act of all time.

Quick Facts Background information, Birth name ...
She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has 17 million record sales certified by RIAA, and over 19 million estimated in total sales as a solo artist. Billboard magazine lists all of her solo albums as top Christian music sellers, and six albums as a duo with her older brother, BeBe Winans.

Early life
Winans was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Delores and David Winans, on October 8, 1964. She is one of 10 children. Her parents were part of the Church Of God In Christ and would only listen to gospel music. She sang her first solo at the age of 8.

Duo with BeBe Winans
Winans first went to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1981 as a singer on the popular Christian telecast, The PTL Club, hosted by Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Although originally part of the larger Winans family singing group, CeCe and her older brother BeBe became a duo during their time at PTL, in response to positive reactions to their version of the song "Up Where We Belong" sung as a duet, with lyrics changed for Christian audiences. In 1984, CeCe and Bebe released their first album, Lord Lift Us Up, for PTL Records. They achieved crossover success, eventually releasing nine Gold and Platinum recordings, billed as BeBe & CeCe Winans. Winans left PTL in 1984 just before getting married. Her brother left in 1985. They released their second album in 1987: BeBe & CeCe Winans.

Solo career
Winans began her solo career with the album Alone in His Presence, released in 1995. It sold more than a million copies, and earned her a Grammy Award and two Dove Awards, including the Female Vocalist of the Year. Winans's next release, the Gold-certified Everlasting Love, was released in 1998 and featured Winans' highest-charting solo singles: "Well Alright" and "Slippin". The song "On That Day" from the album was written and produced by R&B singer Lauryn Hill. Later that year, Winans released His Gift; a holiday album.

In 1999, Winans started her own recording company, PureSprings Gospel. Her first album on the label was Alabaster Box in 1999. Some production of the disc was done by Gospel singer and musician Fred Hammond. It included a guest appearance by Take 6. In 2000 Winans released a concert VHS titled Live at the Lambs Theater in New York. The concert contained songs from her previous albums. Winans released her next album, the self-titled CeCe Winans, in 2001. The single "Anybody Wanna Pray" included a guest appearance by GRITS. The second single, "Say A Prayer" crossed over into the CCM market.

Winans took a two-year break from releasing albums and returned in 2003 with Throne Room. The first 1,000 copies were issued with a bonus CD that contained exclusive interviews with the artist, the making of the CD, some touring footage, and the music video "More Than What I Wanted" (which came from the 2001 release). In 2004, the 25-city tour Throne Room with the group Anointed featured free admission and was followed with a DVD release of the concert recorded in Tennessee. Live in the Throne Room contained tracks from all of Winans's albums. Around September 2004, Winans experienced what she thought was a flu but turned out to be a serious stomach infection and was hospitalized immediately for surgery. Due to the extended recovery time, the second half of the Throne Room Tour was postponed to early 2005.

Winans's seventh album Purified was released in 2005. Her nephew Mario Winans was one of four producers. Her son Alvin III co-wrote several songs on the album, and her younger sisters Angie and Debbie performed.

Winans' collection of Top Ten R&B radio hits include "Count On Me", her duet with Whitney Houston, from the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack. The single was certified Gold in the US and reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 4 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and No. 8 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart.

Winans released her eighth album, Thy Kingdom Come on April 1, 2008, featuring the single "Waging War". On October 6, 2009, a BeBe & CeCe reunion album named Still was released by Malaco Records, and features collaborations with Marvin Winans and contemporary gospel sister duo Mary Mary.

On December 23, 2010, Winans along with Bebe and Mary Mary, featuring the West Angeles Choir, performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

From 2012 to 2014, Winans was a judge on BET's gospel singing competition, Sunday Best, along with her brother Bebe.

In 2017, Winans released a tenth album, Let Them Fall in Love, for which she won two Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Performance/Song and Best Gospel Album. In 2021 Winans released her first live worship album, Believe for It, which won her three additional Grammy Awards (including Best Gospel Album) in April 2022.

She debut her latest songs on Sept 14, 2022 known "Goodness of God."
