Nigerian meat pie fresh from my oven 😋🔥🔥🔥
Ingredients for the dough
4 cups of flour (standard measuring cups)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of water
1 egg
Mix all the dry ingredients first, add the butter and mix till it’s in crumble form, add the liquids and mix together to form a dough . Wrap up the dough and allow to sit for about 7 minutes (this will increase the elasticity of the dough).Roll out and cut to your desired shape and size , add any filling of your choice and bake in a medium heat for about 20minutes or till golden brown.
