BEWARE OF JEZEBEL SPIRIT

The Jezebel spirit is a satanic force that Jesus Christ himself addressed and warned the church about in the book of revelation. This spirit subtly penetrates into the church and subverts righteousness and the faith of many. I will show you nine (9) ways to identify the Jezebel spirit.

1. It's a spirit of impersonation. It claims Spiritual Offices but does not have the attributes of those offices. It has gifts but no fruit, manifestation but no character.

- "because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess to teach." (Rev2:20)

2. It's a spirit of seduction, sexual immorality and pollution. It endorses licentiousness, corrupt practices and vices among believers. It downplays consecration.

- "She seduces My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols" (Rev2:20)

3. It's a spirit of rebellion against God. The carriers of this spirit don't repent of their sins, rather they embrace and live with them.

"And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent." (Rev2:21)

4. God's judgement is hanging on the carriers of that spirit and their followers. They bring disaster on themselves and their followers.

"Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds." (Rev2:22)

5. It is a spirit of lies and falsehood. It takes possession through manipulation and lies.

Jezebel wrote in the letters, saying...
seat Naboth... and seat two men, scoundrels, before him to bear witness against him, saying, “You have blasphemed God and the king.” Then take him out, and stone him, that he may die." (1Kings21

6. It's a spirit of harlotry and witchcraft. It operates through manipulation and compromise.

"the harlotries of your mother jezebel and her witchcraft are so many." (2Kings9:22)

7. It promotes evil and stirs up wild passions in people. It removes restraint from people.

"Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because jezebel his wife stirred him up."
(1Kings21:25

8. It uses material things to buy loyalty.

"four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
(1Kings18:19)

9. It's a spirit of fake prophetic ministries that seek to destroy true prophetic ministries.

"For so it was, while jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord" (1Kngs18:4)

May Jezebel spirit never have any hold on you. I break its power from your life and loved ones in Jesus name!
