Ozzo | The Echo Series
At the core of Ozzo’s musical ethos lies a deep connection to club culture and a relentless digger’s mindset. He channels his energy into the Rotterdam scene, his base.

As the next guest in our series, Ozzo invites us into a mental landscape shaped by his sonic identity:
 A latenight cityscape unfolds, where the energy of the dancefloor melds with a quiet sense of longing. Dimly lit clubs become sanctuaries of warmth, their elements feel almost tangible. Euphoria surrounds you, yet beneath it lies an undercurrent of melancholy - a grounding force. The iconic TR808 and TR707 sounds evoke a sense of nostalgia for Chicago’s house roots, while a more sexy, soulful vibe brings energy to the mix.

Truxx | The Echo Sound Series 005

Truxx is a DJ/producer duo who thrive on their unique interaction with electronic devices, a central pillar of their techno creation process.In 2022, they established their music label Sine Space 7, channeling their vision into striving to harness the pure sound of a sine wave which is a a signature trait they weave into their music to create a distinctive sound.

In this mix, we are guided through a textured landscape shaped by deep sounds and percussive rhythms. With the addition of the pure tone of a sine wave, their formula completes and Truxx demonstrates us what their essence is.

At the core of Haumea’s musical philosophy lies a profound reverence for nature and its intricate rhythms. He believes that the deep connection between humanity and the natural world can be translated into evocative soundscapes that resonate with listeners on a visceral level.

As the fourth guest in our sound series, Haumea slows down his usual tempo to guide us through a mental landscape:

Ominous whispers guide you, awakening hidden, primordial feelings. Leaves rustle, bones crackle, despair and hope intertwine. The ground beneath you dissolves, plunging you into an abyss where past and future converge, revealing lost civilizations and technology beyond reach. At these crossroads, I see all. The sound is simply a guide to our most ancient states, a place where haunting forests, scorching deserts, and misty mountains merge with the boundless potential of human evolution. This is the essence of my sound: the intersection of ancient landscapes and technology.

Being a scientist and an artist allows Cameron Forkes to approach his work from a unique perspective. His background in sciences allows him to have a clear end goal and methodical approach, whilst his artistic vision allows him to apply creative methodologies; and the culmination of these two approaches give way to his unique artistic vision that reflects through his photographs.

“I like to try apply my experience and emotions within my work as a photographer. I would like to consider my style as abstract and furthermore capturing the emotion of the party without actually capturing the 'party' itself. Having frequented many events within the LGBTQ+ communities, I have come to cherish the ethos and rules within these communities. My style of photography allows me to work within these spaces whilst still upholding the ethos of this environment by capturing the presence of the community without capturing individual identities. I feel very grateful that I am allowed to create and express my vision within these often guarded safe spaces and be trusted by many organisers to respect the rules of these spaces, for that I am forever thankful.”

After numerous back-to-back performances and an undeniable synergy while playing together, no.name and MZR decided to embark on a new chapter in their musical journey. The result is "Long Shift" - a project born out of a shared passion for pushing musical boundaries that signifies more than a fusion of two artists; it embodies a shared vision, a shared desire to push the boundaries and experiment with new sounds.

MZR is a techno DJ and producer who has been in the scene more than a decade under various secretive aliases. He later settled on MZR, and alongside his partner, KETCH established the label SYXT. MZR is known for his dynamic and energetic 4 Deck DJ sets, characterized by fast, groovy, and loop-based techno.
No.name is renowned for his style that transitions fluidly between deep, hard beats and hypnotic loops. With sets inspired by the 90's techno scene, no.name is known for his fast-paced and dance floor-oriented performances designed to keep audiences moving all night long.

Meet Marsch, the Berlin-based DJ and producer who will take us on a hypnotic journey on Sunday 28th for The Echo Series 06 | Syxt X Levenslag Amsterdam.
Introduced to music through her parents' collection, Marsch started creating mixtapes at a young age. Her electronic music journey ignited in the UK, where she delved into the art of digging tunes and mixing tracks. With over 6 years of honing her craft, Marsch's sound is a blend of melody, energy, and texture, featuring minimalist elements, rhythmic voices, and futuristic synths.

We are beyond excited to have Nihad Tule behind the decks for The Echo Series 06 | Syxt X Levenslag Amsterdam ⚡️
Inspired by feedback from unruly machines, random and chaotic generation, Nihad’s music is often stripped down to the very basics, seemingly simplistic at first, later revealing layers of complexity that truly witness his dedication to the craft. This dedication has materialized in a trail of releases on his own imprint SLOBODA, as well as respected labels like Proletarijat, Random Island, Skudge and Drumcode LTD, both under his own name and numerous side projects and collaborations. Behind the decks, Nihad Tule’s multifaceted selection, combined with his unique ability to build suspense, has led him to become a returning figure at some of the most eminent techno clubs.

Eerste Communie resident and founder of Somov Records, Ignez crafts tight, indefinable sounds, leaving an indelible mark on labels like Token and SK_eleven. Collaborating with Rødhåd, they've conjured mesmerizing EPs. A pivotal figure in Amsterdam's music scene; we are thrilled to introduce Sandrien for The Echo Series 05
⚡️
Known for her versatile take on techno, spanning deep, atmospheric sounds to high-energy breaks and acid beats, Sandrien's dynamic track selection has made her a dance floor favorite in her hometown and beyond. With over twenty years in the game, she has graced the stages of Lowlands Festival, Awakenings and Dekmantel in The Netherlands, Norway’s Monument, Labyrinth in Japan, and the club booths of Berlin’s Berghain and Bassiani in Tbilisi. She was also a resident DJ of Amsterdam's De School and its predecessor Trouw, the latter being home to her techno club nights, Imprint. Additionally, she is one of the founders of the city’s long-running LGBTQIA+ event series IsBurning.

Sandrien's experience working in record stores Rush Hour and Killacutz underscores her profound musical knowledge and speaks to the imagination of her incredible record collection. Her extensive library is precisely why she’s a champion of playing longer DJ sets, during which she always manages to build a solid bridge between old-school techno and adventurous fresh sounds.

Meet Valody, a multi-talented individual who is a DJ, producer, promoter, and owner of the Elberec label. Hailing from Portugal and now based in Amsterdam, she is dedicated to pushing the music scene of her homeland and actively promoting the country’s talent.

With her sets, she likes to follow the flow of the energy with captivating selections focused on a Techno that welcomes other influences. Anticipate a harmonious blend of power, tenderness, and a refreshing burst of color from Valody.
