5 ways to energize your event attendees
We prepared some strategies for re-energizing attendees both mentally and physically throughout the event.
1. Dynamic seating arrangements
Encourage movement and comfort with innovative seating options. Let everyone stand, use skippy balls like @bewegenwerkt did at their event, or incorporate high-low seating arrangements. These setups keep energy levels up and promote a lively atmosphere.
2. Plan fun group (wellness) activities
Group activities can be a great way for attendees to connect with each other. Help attendees recharge by offering some wellness activities. Think of something fun, like an Energy Session where all happy hormones will be activated, a 5k run, or a Good Vibes Music Challenge.
3. Make your presentations interactive
Keep people interested by using interactive elements. Try live polling or gamification to get instant feedback or host a social media Q&A to get the audience involved. These activities help keep everyone engaged and make your sessions more dynamic.
4. Offer some free time
Balance is key. Don’t start sessions too early, and allow some free time for attendees to explore the destination, catch up on work, or enjoy the hotel’s spa facilities. A well-rested attendee is an engaged attendee.
5. Offer nutricious food and healthy snacks
Everyone needs a little boost during the day. Ensure your overall food and beverage offerings, including lunch and coffee breaks, are nutritious and energizing. Provide healthy snacks to keep attendees satisfied between meals, and consider including a little to-go bag for them to nibble during the breaks.
These tips could help your attendees maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout your event, making sure everyone has a great time from beginning to end.

Ever feel like you miss half of what’s said at a business event? 🧐 Taking notes helps you focus, retain more, and actually use what you’ve learned later—if your notes make sense, of course!
The Cornell Method is one of the effective methods to take notes effectively. Imagine your notebook as a recipe book with three sections: keywords, notes, and a summary.
Keywords are like ingredients—quickly jot down the main topics or questions.
Notes are the instructions—dive into details, examples, and explanations.
Summary is the final dish—wrap up what you learned, key takeaways, and next steps.
It takes just a few minutes, but the memory boost is totally worth it!
