WHO ARE WE?
We are LAAAM (Lab Art And Music), a soon-to-be-born collective, composed of 4 young talents, from different parts of Italy. Our backgrounds are all oriented to audio/ visual art, from electronic music production to VJ-ing, from canvas painting to instruments playing, from sound design and audio engineering to graphic design and advertisement. Soon-to-be-born because until now we haven’t had the chance, but most importantly the space, to put our brains and forces together to create something new, spectacular, which wouldn’t be possible if we were to work on our own, in our bedroom or living-room.
SOME OF OUR IDEAS ARE:
- to create a new instruments, which allows to make music through drawing/painting and vice-versa - to perform live acts, in order to show the endless possibilities of this combination - to research always new methods to connect audio-to-visual, visual-to-audio, in new interesting ways - to share our project with all kinds of audience, from children to grown-ups, from art-educated people to occasional art gallery visitors, making each one of them part of the experience
