I am so excited to be launching here in The Netherlands! Here is a little bit about me. I am Jude, I am originally from Cornwall in The UK and I have recently moved to The Netherlands to settle here with my Dutch partner Sam. I spent the last ten years of my career working in dentistry and have been lucky enough to have learnt lots of skills working with amazing dental professionals both in the UK
and in Australia. Including yearly CPR training, high standards of cross infection control, gaining good relationships and trust with both patients and colleagues. After ten years in dental industry I felt I needed a change and decided to travel the world. I was lucky enough to travel for over two years. I spent most of my time in Australia before travelling to New Zealand, through lots of beautiful countries in South East Asia and the last part of my trip ending in Sri Lanka. Before leaving the UK I purchased my first ever DSLR camera and this is when I found my love of photography. I was extremely fortunate to have travelled with professional photographers from all over the world including: Australia, Canada, France, Switzerland and Finland. Where I gained valuable knowledge and techniques in my new passion. I have now returned with so many beautiful landscape, astrophotography and long exposure images which I will treasure forever. I knew immediately when returning to Europe I wanted to continue a career in photography. It is all I can think about. Landscape photography will always be my hobby, but I want to focus on newborn and children's photography. To be given the opportunity to capture beautiful timeless images for parents, family and friends to treasure forever makes me feel so honored. I cannot think of anything else I would want to do. Safety of baby is utmost importance for me. The safety and comfort of every newborn baby comes first. I want baby to be safe and comfortable and for the parents to be confident in knowing their little bundle of joy is in safe hands every step of the way. Which is why I recently chose to fly to the UK to take two newborn photography courses. I was lucky enough to have one on one training with one of the UK's leading newborn photographers, the lovely Sian Hewett, from Little House Studios who has over ten years’ experience in safe practices in newborn photography. Every year I will be taking courses to keep up to date with newborn and studio safety, editing, lighting and other photography interests. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
