BLUE FLAMINGO @ MUZE MISSE FESTIVAL OSS - Op zaterdag 1 juli zal ik met een band om 15:35 uur optreden tijdens de 15de editie van het Muze Misse festival in Oss. Naast mijzelf bestaat de band uit Sjoerd van Bommel (drums), Bart Wijtman (bas) en Roel Spanjers (Hammond & piano). Ander acts dit jaar zijn o.a.: De Wolff, Waylon, Son Mieux, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Nona, Jet Rebel en jawel…Lee Towers. We zijn vereerd met de uitnodiging en kijken er enorm naar uit.

ULTRA LIMITED ‘HAND COLOURED BY THE ARTIST’ VINYL LP EDITION
One of the reason why I put so much effort not only in the quality of the music itself, but also the technical side of the recording proces and the artwork, is the fact that I’m a record collector myself. In the end, when I finally put a finished LP in my record cabinet, it has to hold its own among the very best music history has to offer. Anything less than excellent would be painful.
Some of my previous compilation albums have become serious collectors items by now, and for this release I even went a step further.
Beside the regular ‘limited’ LP version, which is printed with real fluorescent colours, there is an ultra limited run of about 40 LPs, which are hand coloured by myself.
Specially for the early birds, some of these LPs were put up for sale on the Excelsior Recordings webshop. They sold out pretty fast of course. There is a chance though to own a copy anyway. MORE ABOUT THAT IN MY NEXT POST………
