Today marks a bit of a new chapter for me as an artist. While taking some time off to focus on personal stuff I feel like my mind is refreshed and I’m now better able to focus on music. It was probably noticeable in my sets that I was still unsure of the style I wanted to play, which resulted in playing a lot of different style tracks which made it harder to get in a nice danceable flow. I still haven’t mastered this by any means, but I feel like I’m now able to narrow it down a lot more than I used to. I’ve noticed while playing that (at least in my ears) it sounds a lot smoother because of better track choices and also some new tricks I’m using while mixing. I’m very excited to share the following set with you. To avoid confusion I have chosen a different name for the sets I’m posting on my own SoundCloud channel. The new name of the series will be ‘Purification’. I chose this word because I think that techno should always be experienced in it’s purest form. No commercial bu****it, stupid temporary hypes, big lightshows or distracting decorations. Just the music, a good sound system, the dancefloor and of course the DJ. Also I feel like the sound I’m trying to push is more pure and less influenced by modern hypes, which again suits the word ‘Purification’. But… these are enough words said. Let the music speak and enjoy the new set 🔮
