15 years of Bloom Wedding & Events! I can hardly believe it. Exactly 15 years ago today, I registered with the Chamber of Commerce, fueled by a dream—to become a wedding planner. But not just any wedding planner; I aimed to create the most stunning, grand weddings both here and abroad. I had a clear vision.
The journey to the top has been unique—filled with drive, occasional tears, and determination to redefine the industry. Fifteen years ago, combining planning and styling was unheard of in the Netherlands, seen as incompatible. But today, styling is essential—it’s what makes each wedding unique. I’m proud to have developed my own signature style, one so recognizable that people instantly know it’s my work. That recognition is a compliment I cherish.
I am beyond proud of my team of ten incredible women who pour their hearts into creating magical days for our couples. And to my wonderful network of suppliers—those who know exactly what I expect and consistently deliver with quality, enthusiasm, and collaboration—thank you.
Finally, to all the wonderful couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years—thank you for your trust. You allowed me to bring your dreams to life. It’s been an honor to share in so many beautiful moments with you.
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to my incredible husband and our children. Your unwavering support, patience, and love have been my foundation through every step of this journey. You are my greatest inspiration and my biggest cheerleaders. Without you by my side, none of this would have been possible. Thank you for believing in my dreams and for being my rock every single day. I love you more than words can say.

The design of the roses are especially made for the couple by the talented @lalettrekalligrafie and from there she created an absolute stunning stationary design with the roses as the base.
