Next #dj highlight is DJ Marichio DJ MARICHIO is born on October 16, 1974 in The Netherlands. Momentarily he lives in Zoetermeer. In 1992 he was attending a mellow party in the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel, where DJ Remy and DJ Dimitri were playing. The records DJ Marichio is playing now, are a direct result of the musical influence those two DJ's had and have on him. DJ Marichio started playing records in his bedroom, like most DJ's. He had some old turntables which later were replaced by Technics 1200mk2. He was also very welcome at party's of his friends who enjoyed the music DJ Marichio played. Mouth to mouth publicity brought him at the so called Heaven 2 Heaven party's, where he was in the line-up with a.o. DJ Marc van Dale, DJ Michel de Hey and DJ Remy. In 2000 DJ Marichio went to Ibiza for a holiday, of course with some demo's in his suitcase. He was booked by the Konga Club, a well known club on the island, where he played with DJ Gee, the local hero. He stayed on Ibiza for two months and played at a lot of party's. Back in The Netherlands he worked for three years at Nightclub OQ in Rotterdam. But DJ Marichio wants more. Resident from day 1 Jack Doe will also be joining us at the 26th of August. Jack Doe’s interest for music has been there since he was a little boy, and became serious while growing up. During his visits to all of the major parties in The Netherlands and abroad, a dream developed deep within to become active in the music industry. Jack started chasing his dream with organizing his own parties, with the booking of DJ Hardwell in 2009 as a highlight. Later on, Doe started to focus on dj-ing along the ride, resulting in his first gigs in 2015 with a sound, balancing between dark and groovy techno and warm, cheerful deep/tech-house. His style made him a much-invited and well respected deejay in a short amount of time. This resulted in gigs in famous venues and festivals like Caprices, Paradiso, Café d’Anvers and Privilege, performing next to titans like Octave One, Dixon, Ilija Djokovic, The Yellowheads, Joran van Pol, Rob Hes and Lucien Foort. Meanwhile, Doe kept working on his discography, which developed impressingly with releases on labels like Tauten, Eclipse, Gryphon, Ushuaia Music, and Renesanz. The work of Doe is supported by well-respected artists and remixed by producers like Tom Hades, Steve Mulder and The Yellowheads to name a few. Biggest success until now was his track ‘Levigate’, which reached the eight position of the Top 10 hard techno tracks on Beatport With numerous gigs in Ibiza, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Serbia and off course his home soil The Netherlands, Doe is working steadily to become a respectable deejay and producer. Carsjall Laverne, based in The Hague is well known as a Tech House and Techno DJ.
